It's normal for any severed stem to grow leaves because it still thinks it's on the tree, but without roots, the stem will eventually rot in the water due to fungus and the leaves will drop off! It's akin to cutting off a cockroach's head: The poor thing will move around for a few days thinking it still has the head...it will soon die due to starvation! This guy has taken everyone for a ride and he got nearly 2K 'Likes' for it! Don't know how much UA-cam paid him!
