You are the best! I am going to join your next round of classes. I did not know what to do with these two vintage night stands for years!!! Now i know! You make this look so easy, but a true artist always does : )
Can you do this on other types of material, such as metal or clay pots? Do you have a video tutorial for a rust-like finish? Thanks #replay Cut Bank, MT
I’m doing this finish on a mantle I have a question on the dust of ages How long do I need to wait after waxing to put the Dust of Ages on Thank you Amy
Correct or incorrect? I understand to successfully do this finish on an older piece of furniture that is stained and has a varnish or poly finish I can’t just put cracked gesso on the piece. In this case I would need to apply a coat of one step paint first?
can you skip past the stain if you have a stained piece of furniture? Do you need to remove any of furniture stain finish or can you just clean with clean slate and proceed on to next step?
No, because we are working on raw wood. If you are painting it you do need to clean it with clean slate first, paint with One Step Paint and then do the step outs with gesso...
Hahaha! Heck yes this is more fun than the news, girl!
Hi this is my 2nd video I’ve ever seen of you… I’m Cathy from Grand Junction, Colorado. I’m really enjoying your teaching!

Sooo beautiful!
Thank you very much.
Ordered paints. Very excited to try.
Showing the steps is helpful. Titling steps on the videos and listing supplies for those steps helps.

You sure can! Just use the milk paint binder to get the best adhesion with other surfaces.

Make sure you've got good tack on your wax by feeling it, and then you can put the dust of ages.

Yes!
Thank you for telling me to turn the news off. I will put your UA-cam on my Facebook page
Could you do this finish on a table top? Is there a way to protect in from wear and tear?
Email us at support@amyhowardathome.com with a photo of the table so we can help you best

If you had a brown piece of furniture you skip the stain step I would think
