@Juicy Smooyay What I got from teammates saying "he wasn't a nice guy" was that he was strictly business. He wanted to win, and if he felt that you weren't performing to your full potential. he would make an example out of you. Doesn't make him seem bad to me And from trash talking, that's just a part of being competitive. As a player Jordan was great, as an current owner, he's a piece of trash. He could add to his legacy by winning a championship as a team owner. That's whose here to bash him. Right now today, Jordan has no competitive fire in him left to win as an owner.

Horace Grant has a right to tell his truth. He was acknowledged in the book as confirming detail in "The Jordan Rules" so that could be why Jordan thinks he was the main source. He was the first person acknowledged and he was friends with the author. But his other feelings are valid because they are from his view. I'm an MJ stan but understand he is not perfect. The one person that should be speaking is not, Scottie. I want to hear Scotties thoughts instead of him hiding and ditching the media. Horace is speaking up but why haven't we heard from Scottie himself. He's grown and employed by ESPN. I love Scottie and he will always be one of my favorite players ever.
This is just so dumb. You witnessed “softer guys” getting bullied and you did nothing about it because you were intimated Horace... you were bullied too, I don’t need footage of you fighting back to know Mike had control over you & the rest of the roster because of his talent level. You just inadvertently admitted it lol.
Seems like Horace expected The Last Dance to be a 10-hour roast towards Michael Jordan. So I guess Jason Hehir is supposed to ignore all of MJ's legendary basketball moments that far outweighs his flaws? 🤣
"Why bring that up?" Uhhh because it happened? Idk for something that's a "so-called documentary", Horace sure has a problem with telling the truth. Don't get me wrong, Horace is right to be mad at Mike for accusing him of being Sam Smith's source if it's not true, but I recall Horace being IN the documentary denying it, so what's his problem?
@@ianbjs No it wasn't cut cuz I watched the documentary like everyone else and it was in there. They even had THAT clip as the teaser for THAT episode of him denying the story. Did you watch the documentary?
MJ So Great he did everything in that documentary He laughed, cried, got pissed, pissed people/teammates off, snitched, lied, was humble, revisited old wounds, spoke about management, teammates, opponents, gambling, baseball, activism, winning, losing.
I've had professors, teachers, coaches in college, managers, CEOs that TRIED to emulate MJ's "if the means justify the end" approach to leadership. They ALL were jerks, insufferable & toxic. I don't prefer ppl like that. It's a terrible model. That being said MJ was GREAT, GREAT, GREAT basketball player but it has proven that it doesn't work for him as a team owner at all. It's bad leadership, period.
@Ramses Stafford Fair comment, I guess I mean bad leadership can produce results. Just because the results are profitable doesn't change the fact that it bad leadership. I can be a a**-hole dad and force my kids to do school work and they get A's but that's still bad parenting, right. I get your point though!
He don't have to but he's just tryna clap back because Jordan called him out for leaking info behind his back. It's not believable that Grant didn't. He can say what he wants. But it's a documentary. As a viewer, I want to hear what happened.

MJ stayed in his lane throughout his career and now. As a result, his monumental success as a person validates his decision making power. He overcame resentments and jealousy from teammates AND dragged them to championships. H. Grant should remember this and be grateful. Because of MJ Grant is a Bulls champion.
Nah if mj didnt have people like horace grant ,scottie pippen, dennis rodman we would think of him like people thought of wilt back in the day a scorer but no rings to show for it
What exactly does this show? That u need help to win championships ? No shit it’s what u do with that help that matters plenty guys fall flop on their faces even with help. Anyone who thinks that of Wilt has no context or knowledge of the game. Or Jerry West for that matter Celtics ran a monopoly over the league then they were beyond a super team. Both Wilt and West put up heroic efforts against them and that’s what matters.
Does anyone with knowledge of the different game scheme of today feel that Jordan would score 38-45 PPG or more now and feel that high scoring players today would score less because of fewer shot availability and much more physical hard defense back then?
“Lied & Snitched”...snitching usually means it was true & said something u didnt want to be said. So lies? Idk...& he didn’t snitch imo he told his story 🐐
Those are referring to two different things, not the same. Try to follow. He said Mike lied on him about being the source for the book the Jordan Rules, and said he snitched about people using cocaine an whatnot. Also, lurk more and comment less.
I was curious about what Hodges would've had to say. I don't know if this is true but I heard that before Game 1 of the NBA Finals, he went to center court to try to talk politics with both Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan and was quickly pulled away. I hear he's pissed about some things too.
Idk if ANY of you know this or not. It takes a lot of cutting and editing to make a series of this nature. All of which Jordan ISN’T responsible for. Not to mention he’s human and has lapses in judgement and memory recollection. Like all of us. Perspective is only that. This was a collection of perspectives. Wasn’t about THE truth or HIS truth.
I'm from Chicago, a season ticket holder since 1992... I only sold my tickets when I moved outta State in 2012. That being said, I respect Horace Grant Chicago loved him. But I remember vividly he acted bitter & jealous of Scottie and Mikes relationship. This is still residue from that simple issue.
The Last Dance is the best docuseries I've ever seen and I doubt it will ever be topped because so many of us do idolize MJ and put him #1. If Horace or Scottie don't feel that way, that's their opinion. Won't change mines. 🤷🏻♂️
Mostly everyone wants to know the narrative from Michael Jordan. We want to know *his* side to *his* story. We already heard your side, Horace. You snitched it all to Sam Smith. We now know it's you, Horace.
Perspective is always key, and from who’s perspective a story is being told from will most times have bias or holes. Two things can be true at the same time. MJ being the Goat and MJ being tyrannical and a punk towards teammates can be true at the same time. MJ’s bullying is omitted by some, due to iconic demi-god career. Great watch, enjoyed every second of the Last dance, I agree it’s not a doc.
I was never a Michael Jordan fan, and I'm not from Detroit. Scottie Pippen is definitely right up there at the best player with him. Including Phil Jackson, and Jerry Krause. So in saying that who do you think leak information to Sam Smith, Krause,Jackson, Will Purdue????
"I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons why they were so great on the defensive end." Dude. They won without you, and they played better defense without you. You're not the reason they were so great defensively. Stop it.😂
Yea idk why Horace think he was a superstar 🤣😂🤣😂 he was scary against other bigs he def soft... glad he left cz if he stayed the bulls wouldve never got Rodman ( Horace in dat next 3peat run idk if he could hold malone )
Horace could have simply said "no comment" during the interview if he really felt that way. Plus, Scottie was the leader at the time. Definitely should've been included!
Horace seems a little salty . He left the Bulls for more money and was happy as help when the Magic beat the Bulls , The Bulls went and got Rodman , swept the Magic and won the Championship . Horace was not there for that and seems a little salty . No alpha dog is perfect , of course MJ could not beat uf everyone .He wasn't that big but he wanted to win . He was a basketball who wanted to win whatever it took. Can't please everyone
So all the bs they showed about MJ & all the good stuff they shown about Scottie is forgotten about. Scottie guarding magic full court, the Ewing dunk, etc. I think MJ got ridiculed the most. Especially with the Isaiah thing but Magic admittedly said he had something to do with it but the media chose to criticize MJ. Also the “republicans buy sneakers too” comment which only could’ve came from 3 people. Sam smith thanks Horace in the book. Lol come on man MJ got killed this doc
"I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart." Horace "Fredo" Grant. More like "Afraido." You snitched it all to Sam Smith. MJ was right.
Jordan could have a good reason to single you out as the one to leak about Jordan Rules to Smith. Why would he single you out then? You said, he might have grudge at you? I don't think so. He is just stating what he believes happened at that time. And to this day he still believes you are the one. But I don't believe he has a grudge on you, hence he is still texting you to this day. And in regards to food on the plane... I think it was more of a joke... And you mentioned why would he snitch on other players doping in the hotel room, what's the relevance... To show why he is not like that, hence very focus on winning.. Big relevance I think.
Or how about not let success & money blind you to someone's flaws. You pple are backwards af, yall worship dollars & success. They could be mean af but yall dismiss it cause " *HE GOT 6 RINGS,HE GOT THE BAG* " smh 🐑
DaewooBet Horace is upset because Jordan called him a snitch, saying he leaked what went on in practices to Sam Smith who wrote The Jordan Rules. Did you even watch?
HoAss Grant you should be lucky that you stepped on the floor with him... 🤦🏾♂️ without him you wouldn’t have your first three rings! This is what you call a hater! He just mad he was NEVER on the level of Jordan. He salty 🤣
Horace always had resentment against MJ. MJ wasn’t the friendliest leader but he was the leader they needed to win. If they lost then these guys gripe would be valid but since they all like acting like their era was the toughest then they should live up to it.
Right or wrong, warranted or no, it makes sense that Mr. Grant and others would be upset. From the sounds of it, at least a few of them agreed to take part in what they understood to be a documentary about “The Last Dance”-i.e., their team, that specific 97-‘98 season. They clearly didn’t understand who had the ultimate creative control.
Horace is a hater!! Mike was overly competitive to a fault! It don’t change that on the court he is the best to ever do it!! Kobe was also overly competitive to a fault! Ask Smush Parker!! Lol
Well taking sides here is surely futile, however it's interesting to see the behind the scenes of such a dynasty. Greatness comes at a price. Those Bulls teams weren't all fine and dandy and friendly.
Horace Grant is so petty. U call this show 90% BS cause they didn't show u fighting back when MJ trash talked u? Nobody takes food from my table lol yea OK good for u. Any average man can manage to defend his food. Why don't u try playing better on the court to prove your point? What's what a real man should do if u want to really shut someone up. Thats what MJ does and that's why he is the GOAT.
It’s a documentary series. Jordan portrayed his own downfalls. He highlighted major things in his life. If it HAPPENED, then it should be in the documentary. What’s the point if Jordan glossed over all the bad stuff? It wouldn’t feel genuine.
as a player I like Horace Grant, always will, but who knows... He was cut from a team for creating a bad atmosphere between teammates. It's not that Jordan was perfect, it's obvious he wasn't but in this particular issue who knows the actual truth. Only the book's author knows
Horace was a great player really he was the 3rd best player on the bulls first 3 peat. But to be fair to him the other 2 players were 2 of the top 75 players of all time, 1 of those the majority of the world considers the best ever! So there’s probably a thousand other players that would have been behind them as well.
Horace Grant should stop taking interviews and make himself look bad; he may not have spoken but a good investigating journalist would know how to find his sources.. his sources could be from Jerry Krause and Horace Grant..
It seems Horace is in his feels and sensitive. It makes sense. Jordan is pretty straight up with how he feels. I have not heard Pippen complain about anything in the Last Dance? I dunno. Seems silly to be upset at it but oh well. I still watched it 4 trillion times lol
Buddy, it didn't take a psychic to know which players Jordan was talking about. Not to mention that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Same goes for a team, a team is a family. Dirty laundry stays in-house. Jordan was WAY out of line.

Let's face it MJ wasn't the Good Boy.
@Juicy Smooyay I mean, you can collect all accounts about him from teammates and one thing stands out... he often wasn't a *nice* guy.
Not being nice doesn't mean he's a horrible person.
This is coming from a MJ fan.
@@wisechoice8 You don't have to be nice. As long as you're not evil.
@Juicy Smooyay What I got from teammates saying "he wasn't a nice guy" was that he was strictly business. He wanted to win, and if he felt that you weren't performing to your full potential. he would make an example out of you. Doesn't make him seem bad to me
And from trash talking, that's just a part of being competitive. I'm sure fat white kids say worse things to their opponents on Call of Duty than Michael ever said to someone on the court.
MJ was bitchmade for dry snitching like that a real one wouldn’t have even answered that question regarding the cocaine circus
Juicy Smooyay nobody is saying jordan was a murderer lmao. jordan fans are so sensitive
The director of the doc said MJ didn't take away anything that was presented to him for editing even though he thought it would make him look bad. He said it himself that people might see him as a bad person after seeing this documentary. This is also the reason why non-Bulls fans are all here with an excuse to bash him.
Did you believe that? lol
As a player Jordan was great, as an current owner, he's a piece of trash. He could add to his legacy by winning a championship as a team owner. That's whose here to bash him. Right now today, Jordan has no competitive fire in him left to win as an owner.
@@joe75402, of course I do. I watched it. It was there in the LD documentary. If you don't like him, you'll believe anything negative about him. So that's your problem, not MJ's nor mine.
@@emilkoch4098, Some skills are inherent. Mj also has a different body type and huge hands so his ball-handling skills are unusual too. I'm sure he gets frustrated when other players can't do what he teaches. So he's not a good owner. Give him a break. No one is perfect. How many of MJ's accomplishments do you have??
There are 2 perspectives, I believe Mr. Grant’s experience with MJ.
MJ actually acknowledged his way of “motivating”...BREAK

I think you mean to say, "...and NOT get their rear end beatin'," but otherwise, mostly correct.
Are you romantically interested in his rear end? 😂🤣🤣
Grant’s still crying 😢 Grant has the size skills and ability to be a dominate Powerforward , he coulda been the Shaq of power forwards but he was happy being a 3rd or 4th option and never grew into the superstar that he shoulda been . That’s what MJ saw and was trying to push !
My Name he got 4 rings, that’s 4 more than Karl Malone & Charles Barkley

D Washington you mad!? 🤣 No one would have cared if this documentary was about anything other than MJ... no one cares about this clown HoAss
6:25 He had to have two sources, two, to write a book, I guess. Why would MJ just point me out?”
Did he just admit he is the source ?
Lol yup!
Exactly
It bothers me when people use snitch in the context of things like this.
Well, he was there right? Knows what happened better than me and you, right? He earned the right to use the word snitch. 4 X NBA Champion? c'mon now...
@@kennytalabi3964 3 rings cus of MJ
@CLO187 and Phil and MJ is the leader of that team Horace been playing with.
Kenny Talabi you’re an idiot if you think calling people out for the good of the team is snitching. That’s what snitching is.
Hokage Itachi Uchiha no snitching is what 69 did. Mike ain’t say who, although I wouldn’t have said anything (bc he’s mike) it still isn’t snitching
The fact that he even admitted it happened and told a story about it is snitching.. People can put pieces together and figure out who was involved
The person he snitched on is dead. Orlando Woodridge
Wouldn’t it have to be a secret for it to be snitching first of all? Second he was asked about it.
I believe their relationship as teammates is damaged beyond repair if it hasn't been already.
Nate The Great It was always damaged. Horace never liked Jordan.
The Man bc Horace was good not great... he could of worked harder to be a lot better.
They are not teammates anymore so that's irrelevant
What gives us that impression....
Alay Mynora he got injured too
"The Last Dance"... The players other than MJ. Up next on ESPN. 😁
Horace Grant was a low-volume All-Star level player in the Bulls' 1st 3-peat. He was a big piece of that team.
After listening to this, I now know that Horace is so soft. That's appalling.
Yes exactly

and with you saying that you are proving that MJ did bully his teammates lol
Or maybe cause Jordan had more power than them and could possibly get them traded??? 😮😮
@@greg2797 Some of you guys need to open a dictionnary some of these days and look for the word "bully".
Seems like Horace expected The Last Dance to be a 10-hour roast towards Michael Jordan. So I guess Jason Hehir is supposed to ignore all of MJ's legendary basketball moments that far outweighs his flaws? 🤣
No but rather how about not gloss over his flaws in like 15 minutes of 10 hours
Horace is telling the real truth.
HIS truth
How do you know?

"Why bring that up?"
Uhhh because it happened? Idk for something that's a "so-called documentary", Horace sure has a problem with telling the truth. Don't get me wrong, Horace is right to be mad at Mike for accusing him of being Sam Smith's source if it's not true, but I recall Horace being IN the documentary denying it, so what's his problem?
Exactly, you had your opportunity to dispell the rumor and you did. Doing an interview your on it now sounds like sour 🍇.
That has to do with everything, Horace just lost himself right there

I don't think so! Jordan is still not talking to Barkley.
Jordan had never rocked with Horace
MJ So Great he did everything in that documentary
He laughed, cried, got pissed, pissed people/teammates off, snitched, lied, was humble, revisited old wounds, spoke about management, teammates, opponents, gambling, baseball, activism, winning, losing.

That question about why focus on those few seconds about Pippen is a great question.

MJ stayed in his lane throughout his career and now. As a result, his monumental success as a person validates his decision making power.

Also, lurk more and comment less.
As Stephen A said. Nobody is gonna watch a goggles documentary. Too little to late.
The doc should've had hodges, harp and a few others. Edited to much
I was curious about what Hodges would've had to say. I don't know if this is true but I heard that before Game 1 of the NBA Finals, he went to center court to try to talk politics with both Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan and was quickly pulled away. I hear he's pissed about some things too.
And Kukoc, they completely missed him out from the 1998 Finals and he was instrumental in bring victory to Bulls
I do agree with that

Now we kno facts that horace told sam smith everything on the book 🐀
The Last Dance is the best docuseries I've ever seen and I doubt it will ever be topped because so many of us do idolize MJ and put him #1. If Horace or Scottie don't feel that way, that's their opinion. Won't change mines. 🤷🏻♂️
They're actually the only one's able to form an opinion on the character of MJ at the time, but they didn't say he wasn't the best.
The doc. Didnt by any means portray Pippen in a bad light in game 6 with back problems.
If anything It acknowledges the warrior he was that day
Mostly everyone wants to know the narrative from Michael Jordan. We want to know *his* side to *his* story. We already heard your side, Horace. You snitched it all to Sam Smith. We now know it's you, Horace.
Exactly
The Jordan rules came out around the time I graduated H.S. It was hinted back then that Horace Grant contributed information for it!
Grant to me was one of the greatest things that could've happened to the Bulls 🤩👍🏿
It may have been Jerry Krause simply because Mike thought it was okay to bully
I love hearing these stories, but it does make you look at people differently.
A team captain allowing junkies on his team shouldn't be a team captain, JORDAN kept players from being mediocre, as a true leader should.
ETX Sports it was his rookie season, he wasn’t team captain yet
Orlando Walridge was the leader also a cokehead

Did Horace forget that he was IN the doc talking about Scottie not going back in the game?
His argument was that MJ shouldn't have included it
Horace could have simply said "no comment" during the interview if he really felt that way.
I Don think Horace asked to be put in the doc. He has a right to speak on something that has his name on it.
I stand with Horace Grant.
This is why Lionel Richie say he not releasing he'll documentary until people are dead
And we still love Mike he wasn’t a saint but he was relentless on and off the court this is the stuff we already knew before the doc.
"I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart."
Horace "Fredo" Grant.

Horace Grant, how is Michael Jordan a snitch if he didn't give out the player name🤔
He didn't need to give out a name. He said the entire team excluding him was in the room. Snitched on EVERYBODY!
He’s just so salty lol
It’s definitely komin across that way
Calling mj a snitch he didn’t even say any names.

It's one thing to get personal about _Jordan,_ but essentially invalidating the entire documentary besmirches many more people...
Lol
Horace Grant couldn't see MJ going on Steve Kerr.
MJ may be the goat, but Horace is the truth!
He probably upset with Jordan when he said on the documentary Horace was whining when Detroit Pistons was hitting him.
Well taking sides here is surely futile, however it's interesting to see the behind the scenes of such a dynasty. Greatness comes at a price. Those Bulls teams weren't all fine and dandy and friendly.
Anyone else have to look this up themselves too? Espn doesn’t want this on your recommended
I'm wit you Horace ... MJ wanna show him pushing but don't wanna show people pushing back MJ great but you not real
@KeepingUp WithTheAncestors you got your opinion I got mine
And fair play to Horace for saying ssorry to Isiah adn The Pistons. Takes a real Man to do that
Bill Russell got 11 rings and Jordan got 6. Where do people get off saying Jordan is the goat? 🙄
Watch a few of Bill’s best games then watch Michael in the 92 Finals. As a player, Bill’s not quite there.
How did MJ snitch when at the time and era mj was drafted, the nba was referred to as the drug league
Good point.
as a player I like Horace Grant, always will, but who knows...
HOW ABOUT HORACE MAKE HIS OWN DOCUMENTARY?
TakingFlight Sports cause he can barely speak and no one will watch it. Not trying to be mean just stating facts
Horace is pissed MJ showed him the Bulls didn't need him to threepeat again plain and simple!!
Would have If they never got dennis
They only didn’t need him because they got Rodman.
Period they needed him that’s why Mike was on board with getting Rodman cause he knew they couldn’t do it without Horace
Horace Grant should stop taking interviews and make himself look bad; he may not have spoken but a good investigating journalist would know how to find his sources.. his sources could be from Jerry Krause and Horace Grant..
How can Horace verify what Harper said when Horace was gone by then?
It seems Horace is in his feels and sensitive. It makes sense. Jordan is pretty straight up with how he feels. I have not heard Pippen complain about anything in the Last Dance? I dunno. Seems silly to be upset at it but oh well. I still watched it 4 trillion times lol
Bro, how can Jordan be a snitch about his team doing drugs and stuff when he didn't name names?
