- CM BN is now officially out on Steam, so I decided to make a quick gameplay and tactics tutorial for new players. This will be less cinematic than my usual stuff, but I talk about how the game actually works.
Thanks for the tutorial and my quote of the day "It's just geometry at the end of the day", 🙂 I looked at the map before you started playing and I'm pleased that I pretty much decided on the same dispersal of troops and tactics that you employed. You were unfortunate to have that squad break up the sunken lane towards the uncleared enemy and I was impressed that, when you got into the parallel sunken lane you were practically having to decide the movement of every soldier individually. I'm going to be trying this scenario myself when I get time later in the week. Thanks again, wish me luck!
I love that you got Dr. Strangelove to narrate this for you.
I make use of the "cover arc" command in order to stop my guys giving their position away by firing on inappropriate targets. Especially important for HQs and artillery spotters.
Thanks man! Been watching you for a while and love the content! Keep up the good work!
Thanks man. I learned a lot from your gameplay. Please continue CM content.
Btw how we capture objectives in this game? I cleared the church moved a Squad there but at the end screen it showed up that I failed the capture the church.
@@cesurkarakus209 Hi, first of all, there are different kinds of objectives. A capture objective means that you have to be the only side to have soldiers in the church at the END of the game. If you move them out or there are enemies still in there, you dont get the points. A touch objective you just have to touch. Regarding learning combat mission, have you seen this one? ua-cam.com/video/5RDcWDjafp8/v-deo.html
This was excellent, thank you!
Thanks, very useful info for those of us new to bocage
Can you fire out of a windowless building?
You can only fire out of the sides of a building that have doors or windows, UNLESS that wall is heavily damaged.
ive seen units fire out of windowless buildings but only when the enemy is directly on the other side of the wall
not sure if its to simulate bullet penetration or what but it happens
also could be that they can only spot units directly on the otherside of the wall too
You don't have to plot a blast "through" an obstacle. You can also plot the blast along (parallel with) the bocage. This will often blow a hole large enough to drive a tank through, something that's not guaranteed when you blast through the hedgerow. Plus, you don't have to worry about the pioneers running through the new opening and being gunned down as they do so
An interesting little trip down Memory Lane, just a shame it morphed from Normandy into Telegraphpoleland towards the later stages.
German Slang kill me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
