What secrets? You need to see the angle or you will have a tough time making bank shots? That must be the secret of the century. Thanks for the insight.

Your obviously not an advanced pool player, what he did seemed basic and very simple, but if you were more knowledgeable of pool, you would be able to understand more of what he's teaching, but you are not, this man is a WORLD CHAMPION, in this sport, and when Ray Martin speaks of pool, people listen!!

@@roadrunner381great roadrunner please do defend this garbage video somewhere else. The video is a waste of time and you proved it by saying that someone has to be advanced to pick up his coaching. This video is utterly awful on every level. Take a hike

He could have made the object ball the first time by adding right English to the cue ball. Right English would make the cue ball spin to the left and if your speed is a 5 you should make the shot. I don't understand him moving the cue ball over to find the correct angle. You should be able to find the correct angle by using the cue across the object ball to find the correct bank. I just shoot pool every day on my table and experiment with all types of angles I'm no professional at all.

He's demonstrating how to visualize bank shots and teach yourself how to automatically aim to make bank shots. You will lose control of the cue ball very quickly in bank pool or 1P with typical pool hall banger 9 ball/8 ball left and right english. If you don't play against anybody, you will never learn this. If you play banks or 1P in the pool hall with someone who understands the game, you will learn it in the first rack. Try using center ball and a slight cut, high hard follow. "bank speed" is higher than "pocket speed" you might use on a typical straight in or cut shot.
You should buy Ray's book "99 Critical Shots in Pool", it is a classic and will help you win pool games instead of just spinning balls all over the table.

The key is adjustment for each shot attempting. Any shot is bankable if you visualize the track line and are creative is your shot making.

What’s the point of moving the cue ball when the point is to make the ball where tiger cue ball was
You don’t get to move cue ball in real pool so why practice that way
