I'm definitely a kiwi lover too. I had a teacher once, who ate them with the peel. He said that once you got used to the fuzzy exterior, it was actually quite good... I still halve them and nom them with a spoon, though, or peel them if I need them in slices.
@@Ferrastar Makes sense that the peel would be rich on nutrients. It seems to be the case for quite a few fruits and vegetables. I guess I could try scrubbing off the fuzziness on them, but I've never seen fuzz-less ones in shops, so I have a feeling they aren't imported here.
@@TristanBendixen try looking for Golden Kiwis they are generally the smoother ones. For the green ones I usually just give them a quick wash before eating them and rub them dry.. usually enough to get rid of most of the fuzz

Using operators (predicates) as filters is probably where most people stop. It is a bit difficult to understand and the tutorial is a bit lacking when introducing them.
@@gargish It seems there could be a number of improvements, such as removing the necessity of the variable stores. Like if you use a variable in this or that and then no longer need that reference, then throw it out. That would sure simplify things. Heck, I'd rather the predicate "hold" the variable and have to make the variable twice if needed for two predicates. A long standing idea I'd like to do is to use ID to keep a stock of some crafted things in Refined Storage but I honestly don't even know where to begin on that.
The more I use it the more I feel like I don’t use it as much as I should. It has ridiculous potential. I used it to auto click the sifters first and things just got out of hand as I figured out other ways to use it.
i know that youre done with this modpack, but for the auto clicker and botany pot you could have used an Absorption Hopper, from Mob Grinding Utils, so none of your items despawn.
Please do applied energistic for your main storage. I know refined storage is much simpler, but I absolutely love seeing people who can commit to doing a whole pack making the most of all the channels and sub channels!
Main issue imo is that AE2 Stuff hasn't been updated so you're stuck with normal inscribers and other annoying parts of ae2. But i agree, channels are awesome
@@ChosenArchitect I'm glad you're doing RS again. There's literally no add-ons for AE2 yet and trying to automate inscribers is frustrating. Not to mention AE2 had taken over 1.12 and I'm glad RS gets its chance to shine now.

With the new ex nihilo, you can put ancient spores into a barrel of witchwater and get a brown mushroom block. It's not a guaranteed drop for regular mushrooms, but the spores are easy enough to get. Not that Nature seeds are difficult to get either, really.
i started watching your vids because i got into all the mods to the sky, and i couldnt get slime for THE LONGEST TIME, because i was looking at slimeballs, and for them i needed to go to nether and make a magmacube farm... turns out i just had to look up blocks, as i already have a witch water setup for my soulsand farm... thanks a lot, love your vids :D
You should look into hopper botany pots as they will automatically put products of what you have planted into a connected inventory (chest etc) and replant themselves, hope this helps love the videos
I like kiwi as a garnish. That tart pop of green is just nice as a balancing finish to some dishes. As for peeling it, there's a gadget for that. Saw it on Barry Lewis's channel.
In past versions of Pam's the gardens would spread over time, similar to how mushrooms spread. This makes them farmable resources too. It is not really required in this pack with the sifting source for them but an interesting edge case sometimes. I only mention it because my first reaction was "oh no he used them all up" when he broke the gardens.
integrated dynamics isn't neccesarily js/json based, but it is all about reading and using NBT data. The NBT data however is (or atleast looks) JSON based. Another fun fact if you didnt know, JSON stands for JavaScript Object Notation, so yes that is why it also looks like JavaScript

I just eat it with the peel on, simple, or basically eat it like a madman and eating ot from the sides and leaving the peel of the kiwi intact (i loved kiwi when i was small)
You can get menril sapling from putting a spruce sapling in the blood magic altar. Also slime can be gotten from dough. I got lucky and got a mushroom from the wandering trader
If you slow the auto click down it still works. Mine is at 5ms I believe and still functions. I am using a Sensei 10 with Steel Series 3 engine and the basic auto clicking option still functions.
For you who start the mod pack after the last update for fast sieving you can set your kaybind for item use instead of right click to a keyboard key, but it is worth if you sieve large quatities of blocks. :D
I use AutoHotKey and program it myself I use ctl to do shift+rightclick for garden of glass. And F4 to do the sieve (right click only) Still works fine for this Its nowhere near as fast as yours was but it always works

Hey Chosen. Sorry but this is affecting my OCD. You don't need to use a button with the Mystical Agriculture infusion pedestal. Just place a block of redstone under it at it will activate itself when needed.
I can't believe you peel kiwi! Please try this, cut the kiwi in the guts, remove the hard ends, and stick them in ya gob. They're the best! No peeling and you get all the goodness from the peel too!
New Zealand born so I love Kiwi Fruit, as others have said it's easiest to cut in half and eat them like a yogurt but I got used to just eating the skin.

yeah, the mystical agriculture seeds, they require the tier of the seed or higher farmland in the pots, so tier 1 seed can use any enhanced farmland, tier 2 requires prudentium farmland or better, tier 5 seeds require the best farmland or they just can't grow also... unless it's been changed for ATM6 skyblock, if you have a ring of it around the witchwater conversion, the open mycelium grows mushrooms...he does know this...right?

The skin is where a lot of the nutrients are. I just slice 'em and eat 'em whole. You can wash off the fuzz or get ones with smooth skins as well

Thanks for the tip on the integrated dynamics screen, I'll definitely be using that early on a different run-through for all my storage drawers!

It's not the fact that it's easier... There's just more mod add-ons in the pack for refined storage.

You can plant the mushrooms, grow them into giant mushrooms and duplicate them that way, much easier and faster

Bonemealing a mushroom on a mycelium block is also a good way to get mushrooms

I always go 4x4 with the sieves. That is because 16 sieves will add up really well to a stack of 64. And also because I always did it that way.
You can make mushroom blocks with witchwater, and when you break them they drop mushrooms!

Cut a thin slice from the kiwi, insert a spoon between the skin and the fruit and basically gouge it out whole. Easy and quick.

For those watching and recently or about to start. The autoclicker "works" on the heavy sieves
You can actually use the auto-clicker in the mod pack to sieve fast and to use a watering can in to grow things like snad but for everthing

i try to play this modpack but i consistently get 2 fps even with optifine, but in other packs like sky factory, and mc eternal, i get 150-200, help?

I'm using RFTools Tier 3 Crafters, 2 of them for all the ores from sieving.
Ex compressum includes a machine to process the pieces into chunks.
