Occultist is the best class for a new starter in my opinion.
Read on to find out why...
    - Big damage skill (Dreeg's Evil Eye) unlocks with 1 point in mastery and can be heavily buffed very early in Act 1 with several boss-drop items that have 100% drop chance. Skill scales really well and remains great all the way to endgame.
    - Another big damage skill (Doom Bolt) can be buffed to silly amounts of damage.
    - Area damage skill (Bloody Pox) is strong and useful.
    - Exclusive skill (Possession) provides damage absorption as well as damage buffs and 100% skill disruption protection.
    - Class has two pets and a generic pet-buff skill (health, damage, speed, energy regen) so can be part of a strong pet build.
    - Curse of Frailty is a very useful resistance reduction skill with an area effect.
    - Blood of Dreeg provides great buffs including a massive amount of acid/poison resistance on its 2nd node.
    - Occultist can be very useful as a support mastery for every other class in the game.

I expected Kymon to be a walk in the park. Korvaak looks like a typical kiting fight, but definitely easier than usual from my memory.

Yeah, Kymon pretty much a one-shot due to the extreme damage over time. Korvaak's health is too high for anything except a prolonged runaround but at no time did it feel risky.

Will you continue to ultimate ?

@@costas1010 Already there. I’m not going to bother with Elite, just need to go back to Vet and finish Malmouth.
In Ultimate, I’ve done Kyzogg, Viloth (twice for rings), Milton, the three named idiots for Harmon, rescued the caravan vendor guy - all with unoptimised resistances and no problems at all.

@@Arcadelife1 Great! Any chance for a second class?

@@costas1010 Yeah, I’m planning to do a video all about the options for each mastery as a 2nd mastery … if that makes sense.

@@Arcadelife1 it does, but take your time, we have patience... I don't, of course, but the others do... I think.
