Yes sister, thank you so much for including scripture in what you share with us. That is the most important thing that you could share. There’s always going to be somebody who doesn’t like it, but there are so many of us who will never meet in person, but we will meet in the kingdom! There are so many moms on UA-cam, and a lot of them are lovely, but this is something I desire to see. I desire to glean wisdom, and spend my time watching somebody who is like-minded with me, and will always remind me that in the middle of decorating my home, and finding rugs, and making our dwellings lovely, Christ is the center of it all.

I wish our library would have the free seed packets. Funny story. Years ago when my husband and I were dating, his parents were gone on a trip so I went over to make him supper. I asked if his mom had any onions that I could dice up. He brought me one from the basement. As I was about to cut it up, I realized he brought me a gladiola bulb that his mom had dug up to winter indoors. Happy birthday Rosie. She'll love the gifts from you guys. Cilantro will self seed if you let it. I have some coming up in my garden from last fall ( I’m on the other side of Iowa from you). You might want to try chives too; they are winter hardy here as well. We love chives in cottage cheese. But you’ll learn as you go. God provided the seeds in most of your flowers. We have SUCH A LOVING GOD, WE ARE ALL SO blessed. Your scripture reading brings me to tears. What a great God we have, who loves us so much.

Hi Kirsten, I just wanted to give you an easy no till method for starting All your flower beds again for a New Start this spring. Put cardboard down overlapping to kill all the grass and weeds. Must be watered after you put down the cardboard, then apply 3" to 4" inches of mulch on top of that....water ALOT at 1st. As soon as it's time to plant in your area, just dig holes and plant through the mulch and cardboard. 😁
Amazon sells cardboard in rolls if that's easier for you to get.... I hope this helps you get a good start this year 😁

One of the highlights of my Easter season THIS YEAR, was listening to you read God’s Word…..the amazing Resurrection story!!! As you teared up, I did as well!! How many times have we, as Believers, heard this powerful story? (Of course we could never hear it enough!!)
It was the Holy Spirit moving in you as you read that brought a newness for me again!
Side note, I was going to be SO involved in our Easter Worship….both tonight (Friday) AND Easter morning. I am a singer. I suddenly got sick and also completely lost my voice…..which hardly ever happens!!! I will miss each and every moment of this special weekend!!!

Someone may have said this already, but make sure you anchor the armoire to the wall. I was never one to worry about that, but last week my 4-year-old tried to climb one in our bathroom (while I was still asleep 😳) and I did fall on her. By God’s grace, it only caught the side of her leg. We were all terrified, everything was on the floor- including broken plant pots,- and the door broke off the cabinet. Just be careful.
The porch looks great! We also live in an old house without a mud room. I don’t know how people managed to keep their houses clean when they were literally running farms in these houses!
❤ Oh, and I love the blue/white flavours in your home! I have a lot of blue/whites! I don’t do seasonal decorating, like it seems to be the trend… I leave my decor up all year round because I enjoy it, and I don’t feel right about spending money for seasonal decor…other than flowers…I do put up special things to celebrate Jesus at Christmas…that focus on
Him, and why He came… ❤

I love the wardrobe. It looks so good all fixed up😊 Thats so cool that your library does that!😊 Gladiolus are beautiful.. the stems are tall and the flowers look just like on the packet, very pretty! And usually they spread. My grandma always had white, orange and yellow ones when I was little. We have this huge field right down from our house that is covered in red/orange poppies every year, its gorgeous! We took the grand babies last year and walked out thru the field and took the cutest pictures! But I'm going to pray you have the most beautiful & amazing flowers this year, that they ALL come up🙏😊 I think all the pillows look really nice on the couch, love all the prints & fabrics. Really love the double sided one❤ I love the craft with the girls and love the Easter story read from the bible. Our God has risen, he's alive and well! But just knowing why he did it, for our sins to be forgiven.. and spend eternity with him! He's so good and loves us ohhh so much! Thank you for sharing that message, and i enjoyed the video😊

Great tomb scene. Sweet kids activity. Recommendation, You need a more hooks in your drop zone on the porch. Stagger them in heights for coats and backpacks and other items. It will help keep the floors clear of clutter. Keep an eye out for a bench with storage or a cube shelf you can turn on its side and use for a bench. Love your style and your creativity.

The way you celebrate birthdays are so special. Those are the memories they will remember. My kids are now in their 40-50s and they remember when we were broke, I would make tuna salad and put on a curly lettuce, fan pickles and serve on fancy dishes and goblets for their water. They thought it was all that. I see people spending hundreds of dollars to do a party they cant afford. Loved your entry way.❤. Yes, the new pillows go together perfect now.

I did want to share that I once had a house with mold that had to be remediated and I felt much relief once we had it cleaned up.We hired an industrial hygiene engineer at a high cost to help us clear the air so to speak. 😅 very first thing he recommended was to not ever burn candles indoors. It changes the air quality and is so bad for allergies. I do burn tapers and dinner sometimes and only use beeswax candles. When you put out the flame be sure to cap so soot and smoke does not get into your house in the air. Hope that helps!

I getcso encouraged by you sweet friend! I was thinking of your pillows..maybe put that black one on your bed in front of the tan ones. The black headboard might make it pop.
I also wondered if you thought of putting the pairs of pillows on the same sofas? That might help bring a more cohesive look to the sofas and help you live the pillows even more. I love having my rectangle pillows in the middle between my pairs.
