"Some time or another a mighty storm will blow across the landscape of our lives. The waves will roar. The winds will be fierce and we will wonder if we have the strength to make it through. Often storms surprise us with their suddenness. We have no choice when the storm will come, its intensity or its duration. We do have a choice of whether we focus on the storm or on the Master of the sea and sky. Christ is with us in every storm and reaches out His strong hand to lift us above the waves and take us from the stormy seas of life to eternity’s sea of glass ." Mark Finley.

I don't know whatever thing you are requesting prayers for but,thanks to our Lord and Savior who knows whatever is in your heart.
May HE reach you out as it pleases HIM.
Be of good cheer at time HE may not take you out of the same but, HE promises to be with us in the same difficult situations remember the young Hebrew men.
Have faith,in HIS appointed time the answer will come by and your heart will be gladdened.
I was sinking with no job.My faith was about like Peter's that one night and suddenly Jesus offered me several jobs in 2 days!!! Jesus is so good and faithful to to us.
Praise the Lord. What a powerful God we serve.
Amen your testimony has given me hope since I'm in this storm it's a very furious storm I'm facing please stand with me

how are you dear? we all will die eventually, but the important thing is to die believing and trusting Jesus, and never forget that we will meet our saved loved ones…and God only sees what's in their hearts at the last moment, so there is hope in Him and His promise, keep praying and trusting Lord and He will take care of everything❤for He is our Father and Saviour.
I had experienced stormy in my life. I cried out to Jesus but He did not give me answer immediately . Still I trusted in God even though nothing happen to me . After 1 year and half God opened door for me and He prepared everything what I need. Now I'm peace and happy in Jesus. Thanks Lord.Amen

This type of message is what we need ,other messages by other sermons they say ''trust God'' but not mention that trusting is about a process, I never new of this until this message. I am going to a 'dark time ''now and I am struggling with my ''trust'', until I believe God lead me here to understand what it means to trust, and ''not to lean on our own understanding'' I have an analytical mind , and logical , so it is difficult for me . thank you
Just remember it is God who created logic.
When the israelites were on the way to cannan from Egypt they faced storms of life but God was with them day and night even us christians on our way to heaven storms of life are there but Christ has promised us He will be with us until the end of ages be blessed pastor

Lorna I see that your post was 2 months ago I do hope that since then you have been able to allow the Lord to lift you into his Shelter From The Storm. He loves you, He sees you, He knows exactly what you're going through. The word is through and he promised He will never leave you or forsake you, so that means He is with you 'through' whatever storms you face. Thank you Pastor i recently experienced a heart attack caused by life 's mistakes and stresses ,i had taken your book 'Getting through life's toughest times' from our church. The days after this attack were terrifying for me fear and guilt entrapped me. I read this book everyday i was in tears but the Lord had mercy on me and he still healing me as we rebuilt the walls of faith that were broken in me .i am not yet strong as i was before but my Spirit holds on to God everyday. In gratitude i sing ,in letting go i see Him....Thank you Pastor i have had a wonderful leadership and testimonies even from your book Health and Wellness....May God bless you

Amen. When we begin to understand how powerful His promises are, we will lodge them in our hearts more and more.
1. Christ allows the storms of life to affect us to strengthen our faith and reveal his power not to drown us
2. Christ governs the intensity and duration of the storm
3. Christ reveals himself in the midst of the storm, the keeper, the restorer and redeemer

Same here, but will pray your storm passes. I've been reminded this eveing that without God's help we are nothing. I pay in the name of Jesus Christ our Father in heaven that our storm passes , when i think of God i remember him as this mighty awesome God who parted the red sea, fed the Isrealites, protected them. He took Elijah and enoch to heaven. He fought for Moses body and resurrected him. I pray HE forgives us and give is the strength to overcome Amen.

Whenever I feel tired in life or some challenges seem to overwhelm me, I come back to this one sermon. Mostly I have listened to it during nights when not able to sleep, sometimes even repeatedly in just one night. It never gets old and always encourages me to trust Jesus more and more. I never am the same afterwards and with each time I listen to it new phrases and verses become important to me. And then to garnished it at the end of the chapter, saying ,"For in Him(God), the best is always yet to come. "

We fear when we forget
When we forget what?
I have been battling with spinal cord injury, I am always in pain, I wish and prayed that GOD will see me through this Storm in my life.
I was a drug addict but now am clean and 3 year sober. I hope for a better treatment for my spinal injury. If any body can help me with a good hospital treatment I am ready to come receive the treatment

Praise the LORD! And thank you JESUS, one of my favorite passages is when CHRIST walked on the sea, and his disciple with faith got of the boat, to be with JESUS. It is always interesting a read, and allows us to plug into the powers of faith. I believe things will get better. I’m having trouble getting my paycheck and am in danger of losing my car and home but I ask the Lord to do what is best for me. My son got in trouble and he is in prison and needs my help and I don’t have access to my money to do anything for him but pray. My daughter needs my help and I don’t have the means to do so either. I am a new Christian again and I thank God for saving my soul and I trust him to help them also. I’m not worried like I was but I’m going to trust the Lord to do what is best for me and my family and friends. I lost my wallet and I don’t have an ID to do anything that would resolve this Issue, but I have faith that things will be better. I am glad to be saved, and I’m glad I was able to quit smoking with the Lord’s help. I’m dependent on God to do what is best for me. I pray for forgiveness and I love Jesus with every fiber of my being. Things seem hard but they could definitely be worse. Praise the Lord.
