- Seventh day Adventist ( SDA ) Pastor Mark Finley preaches a sermon on the role of angels in the battle between good and evil. The appearances of angels at the birth of Christ provide the backdrop for this encouraging, soul stirring presentation. An angel encourages Joseph in his perplexity, an angel strengthens Mary in her distress, an angel guides the shepherds and an angel warns Joseph of Herod’s plan to destroy Jesus. Each of these stories have one major thing in common. They reveal that God provides all of heaven’s resources to strengthen and support is in our times of need.
Heaven and earth are not that far apart. God sends angels to encourage our hearts, provide direction for our future, protect us in danger and to beat back the forces of hell to enable us to be victorious in temptation. All of the resources of heaven are available to us so we can live the most abundant life possible. Christ has come. The Holy Spirit is present and angels wing their way from the heavenly realms to support and strengthen us. Now that’s reason to rejoice.

Letters of inquiry have come to us asking, Shall we have a Christmas tree? Will it not be like the world? We answer, You can make it like the world if you have a disposition to do so, or you can make it as unlike the world as possible. There is no particular sin in selecting a fragrant evergreen and placing it in our churches, but the sin lies in the motive which prompts to action and the use which is made of the gifts placed upon the tree. {AH 482.1}
Right. There is no particular sin in selecting.... .But what is the motive of joining?

Greetings from Manila, Philippines. I became an SDA not the easy way. It was expensive and paid a dear price, inside the National Penitentiary. It was my greatest decision in my life. That was in 2009. It is 2021 now and how I love keeping the Sabbath and hearing good preaching from SDA Pastors. Shalom!

I gave my grandson an angel for Christmas. I heard that babies see angels. He was always looking at the ceiling I said what do you see He pointed to his angel I said do you see angels He pointed to two places. He saw angels till he was six years old. He would talk to me about them. I kept saying how could he see angels on the ceiling. The week before Christmas I went to a program at my sons church. We got there early. I looked up to th e ceiling and there were many angels on the ceiling. They had halos of light around their heads. They wore white robes with gold rope belts. I know what I saw that was the most beautiful giftI ever received
Angels the protector and depender of the faithfull.

I had a beautiful and fearful experience with angels. I was praising God in my privacy, and singing psalms in my head, then I started hearing what sounded like heavenly instruments and voices. I couldn't help but to ne afraid, but it was indeed a precios experience that I hope to repeat but with more faith
That happened with me in 2010 with the song "In The Garden". It brought tears to my eyes. I'll never forget it. ❤️
My brother had encounter with an angel. He was walking tirely as a colpurture ,waking from place to place alone.Then a man walk beside him and taught him a song and they were singing until they reached the next village and the man was gone before he knew it😊

A very powerful message of inspiration and encouragement of hope and faith in times of trouble
My grandson was 15 months old I gave him an angel for Christmas Heard kids see angels. He was always looking at ceiling asked hm what he saw. I said do you see angels. Po inted to two placing at the ceiling Saw angels till six years old discussed about angels. Described them. Told me that all angels were daddies. I couldn’t understand how angels were on ceiling. God showed me. Were in church for Christmas program. The whole ceiling was filled with angels hundreds of angels. Best gift I ever received only I saw them.

God sent an angel who walked me home along a dark road on a moonless night after I had gotten extremely drunk. He told me he knew I had been drinking all day at a local bar. I saw him when we were under a streetlight. He was extremely tall, and his head was very bright, so I could not see his facial features. We had to walk around my apartment building to my bedroom window because I could not locate my house key. He lifted me through the bedroom window and said goodbye.

I really liked this sermon. I noticed in the comments that some of you could only see the Xmas tree and must have totally ignored the message. Sad
Thanks for watching. It is very sad that people have missed the message and focused on the Christmas tree.
I usually put it in my watch later list -sermons that show up on my algorithm that speaks to me- but I end up being busy throughout the day with mindless things and it usually takes a while to get to it. But I'm thankful for the holy being that influenced me to watch this. I am struggling with some decisions in my life. I am a young adult wanting to pursue a career but also want God's will to be manifested in my life as well. The audio is gone for the ending part of the video and my siblings are extremely noisy... but glory be to God the English generated subs worked...it usually don't but God is the God of the impossible! Will listen again tomorrow.
