@@pauldablue TR8S here. Faders are necessary for performance (even if only in the studio) and a feeling of connection to the instrument. Even if the knobs were bigger, they wouldn't be as good because you can't turn three or four adjacent knobs up or down at the same time like you can faders.
If it has an alarm clock feature it would be perfect for getting me up in the morning
