No Ahsoka Tano is a Master, on her way to Grandmaster level. She’s far more skilled than Luke Skywalker. Luke has the Skywalker blood which is raw talent but raw talent without the proper training and decades of experience Ahsoka is stronger. Dave Filoni said this himself that she’s his senior. Ahsoka the White will be grandmaster level.

Everyone is missing that Ashoka is in The World Between Worlds when she clashes sabers with Baylan (the old with looking guy)
Not sure if she becomes a true Jedi or not, but she IS the embodiment of the light side of the force.
That part. The light side of the force is strong in her.
I'm surprised y'all didn't bring up the Orange Lightsabers, especially since the Sith only use Red Sabers.
It really felt like Ahsoka was low key mentoring Luke (Mando S2), seeing how he was still young in the game and she was trained by the most powerful force user.
In Book of Boba I totally figured Ahsoka was there helping to train Luke, not Luke training her. Ahsoka would totally smoke RoTJ Luke. She's had way may training and experience in the force. She's fought against Ventress, Dooku, Greivous, Maul and Vader. She's cleaned inquisitiors without breaking a swear.

She was once a Jedi Padawan...before she was set up by Barriss Offee, and prosecuted by The Jedi Order. The truth is, she may be a truer, newer form a Jedi, albeit as a Force Mystic. Maybe she'll be bestowed the title of Jedi Mystic. Qui-Gon Jinn was a bit of a Progressive Jedi, and didn't necessarily see eye-to-eye with The Jedi Council. Also Ahsoka Tano is endowed with certain Force powers and knowledge, due to her direct connection with the essence of The Daughter Of Mortis.
I take it more as those are the things that she’s been or has accomplished in her career. Kind of like Ashoka’s resume of sorts and this new series will define who she is now.

When Ahsoka said “Heir to the Empire” I LOST IT. That’s a reference to the Thrawn trilogy of novels from Legends which chronologically speaking, is around the same time as the Mandoverse, which are extremely goated books

For me Ahsoka would beat Luke at this point. It depends on how she has been training since we last saw her in Rebels. But in the clone wars she held her own vs Maul and in Rebels did the same vs Vader.

Ahsoka can be a jedi again for sure. She possesses ALL the qualities of what a prime Jedi is and what a jedi should be, her realizing that could be a great progression for her arc. But I think I prefer for her to be a Ronin ex jedi, and Luke to fill in the spot for a prime jedi. So I think it's time to stop relegating Luke to cameos and give him the spotlight again

No you got it wrong. She’s 100% a Jedi. She left the order because it was corrupted by politics in the prequels but being a Jedi is NOT just saying “Ayo man’s ima jedi” it’s a way of life, philosophy, a being. You don’t have to claim you’re part of an order, but she is helping Luke and Grogu and Ezra so the trailer is saying “bro she’s a Jedi” she’s going to be a Jedi again.

Ahsoka would never be what the Jedi were. That was the fall of the Jedi and she saw it coming. But Ahsoka is, in my opinion, a Jedi in everything, but title. She is the embodiment of what Jedi should be. This show is gonna be epic. So happy to have our Rebels sequel in here.
Edit: WAIT! Y’all don’t think Ahsoka can take Luke?! Luke isn’t even as trained as Ahsoka is. Luke has a lot of pure talent as a Chosen One, but Ahsoka was trained by THE Chosen One. I could see it going either way, but I would never say in any certainty that Ahsoka would lose.

Ahsoka didn't see the fall of the jedi coming, lol.
By saying that, what I mean is she saw that the path of the Jedi was incorrect. Did she see what was to come as a consequence of their actions? No. But she did see that they were wrong and that, idealistically, they were falling. It’s why she chose to leave the Order and it’s why Filoni chose to parallel her with Dooku in Tales of the Jedi.
The 'austerity' in the colour tones/pallet for the environment and decor sparcity make me think that the main undertone of the series will be Ahsoka's personal spiritual journey... and I'm all for it 👌
I think they’re giving us her timeline with the titles.
Warrior: Clone Wars
Outcast: post-expulsion
Rebel: rebellion phase
Jedi: her rebuilding the Order with Rey, making sure what happened to Anakin never happens again to Jei’s point
That shot of Ahsoka falling will be the same shot in the Clone Wars season 7 where she jumps and drags her blades to break her fall 100%
I personally don't believe that Disney (or the fandom as a whole) is trying to revert Ahsoka back to being a Jedi. My thought has always been that, while she is technically no longer a Jedi due to being expelled, she nonetheless still embodies the core values of the Jedi. So it's more so that she still has the spirit of a Jedi, if that makes sense. All of her morals and teachings stuck with her and influenced after she left the Order.
Ahsoka is more than just a Jedi. She purified kyber crystals that have been bled. That means she is the light. Ashla (her nickname in Tales of the Jedi) was a moon of Tython where the ancient Jedi were sent when they fell too much too the light side of the Force. (Bogan is the other daro side moon) the in between is called the Bendu. As in Rebels.
Right before Ahsoka leaves the order in clone wars season 5, she is told that what she went through was her great trial, meaning she would’ve been knighted shortly after. By the time of rebels it’s said she is on Dookus power level. So i think it’s totally possible that by now she’s atleast upper Jedi master level, if not beyond it. Super excited to see where the series goes.
I made a separate comment of my own on this issue. But I think she matched Dooku by the time she took out that inquisitor in TotJ

@@willfanofmanyii3751 Kenobi, Kanan, Maul, Luminara, and many of the Jedi entombed in the fortress Inquisitorious, were all well beyond padawan-level, e.g. Old-school detective Jedi that helped Ahsoka get her light saber back on Coruscant, yet they were hunted by Inquisitors. Obviously the ones in the fortress lost... and Luminara's body was used as bait. Your argument does not hold up.

A few things: Thrawn is coming back and Ashoka mentions Thrawn as "Heir to the Empire" Which is the title of a trilogy of books that is considered to be the best story in non cannon literature, So maybe they will be leading to a trilogy of movies based on the old novels. Also, if we are getting Thrawn then maybe all future stories are leading to the Uzon Vong invasion. Instead of being after episode 6 the invasion will happen after episode 9.
I think it will be the Grysk rather than the Uzon Vong that will be the future nemesis of Star wars.
They confirmed yesterday that Dave Filoni’s doing a movie that will wrap up any hanging plots from Rebels and The Mandalorian, so I don’t think we’ll be getting a full trilogy based on the Timothy Zahn books.

I really hope this gets a massive surge of people to watch Rebels. This is basically live action Rebels and they look to be heavily involved.
Luke is stronger in the force than Ahsoka...but in terms of fighting skill, she's above Luke. Saber wielding is what I mean. She went through training in that regard by MASTERS including Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Mace, Plo Koon. Luke is almost self taught. Yoda's training on him was cut short. Young Luke fought Vader and lost a hand. Ahsoka fought Maul and Vader...struck Vader in the face...and didn't' get a scratch from neither...fighting ability...she's tip top...her connection with the force isn't as high as any Skywalker...but her CV is tight. Dooku, Ventriss, Bariss, Cad Bane, Grievous, Vader, Maul...fought them all and survived.
so the scene at 5:14 is at the end of rebels, when sabine is talking about the end of the empire, they literally redid the scene from animation to live action, thats crazy af

Just my 2 cents here...
I totally think Ahsoka can beat a Sith Lord. Her character progression has pretty much been similar to Anakin, they just took different paths when they both got disillusioned by the Jedi Order.. She's always been stronger in the force, and her lightsaber skills are 2nd to none.
And the argument that she hasn't been trained in real Jedi Arts ever since she left, the same argument can be made for all the Sith who exist now. Because the only true Sith Lords were Palpatine and Vader. Palpatine spent years learning the dark side of the force via the rule of two. Vader was an official Jedi Knight who had completed all the training, which is why he is super strong as a Sith Lord. But most of the inquisitors are just brainwashed force users who are given a rank. Sith Inquisitors technically would be those who couldn't become a Sith Lord. I honestly believe if Palpatine sensed even one of the inquisitors being stronger than Vader, he would totally plan a fight between the two to figure out which one he wanted as his apprentice. hahah.
But Palpatine's new sith order with teh inquisitors is also why I feel the Sith eventually lost. Because what the Rule of Two was meant to be for the Dark Side to only be accessibly to TWO DARK SIDE USERS... a Master and an apprentice... and hence both of them would be more powerful than the Brotherhood of Darkness Sith Order that existed before. I know I'm simplifying it a lot, but that was the main crux of the Rule of Two. So by introducing the inquisitors, I believe Palpatine weakened Dark Side. But yeah that's just a random tangent theory I went off on. hahaha
Anyways, back to Ahsoka... Another factor you have to take in when it comes to who is stronger is that it's not just about Lightsaber. It's about a lot of factors. Connection to the force, wisdom and experience. Even if Ahsoka has not been part of any Jedi training ever since she left... the training she had was intense and it's not something you forget. And for a while she did seem like she gave up, but since then, she's been working her ass off trying to hunt down the rumors and anything dark side related. That experience counts a lot. No amount of training in a school can substitute for actual real life experience. Her connection with the force is much stronger than an average Jedi. Even if she is weaker, she still comes into the category of Obi-Wan and Luke... just because of her exceptional connection to the force. She is 2nd to none on that front. Lightsaber skills, Obi-Wan and Luke would be better, but still like I said, there are other factors to Ahsoka that make her a very strong opponent. She's also very clever and thinks out of the box just like Anakin was criticized for, yet made him one of the best Jedi Knights. Ahsoka inherited a lot of things from Anakin... one being his cunningness. While Most Jedi would fight honorably, Ahsoka, like Anakin, wouldn't think too much about going dirty. She would totally trash talk her opponent to get into their heads, or blindside them, which most Jedi would think is beneath them.
SO all in all... with me going on tangents a few times, I feel like Ahsoka can totally go toe to toe with a Sith Lord.
Nah, it just that the mainstream doesn't like the concept of the "Greys" as George Lucas Light/Dark dynamics has a dominating school of thought.
PS: if like to dive-deep in this subject the knights of the old republic games is a good start.
I will just say this. Yes they go a little ham with Ahsoka's level ups....BUT. if you go back to her history.. Since her first episode when she was an annoying 14 yo in Clones. Her first day she was reckless, but she saved Anakin with that large Boulder with the hole in it.. then take in the fact that ANAKIN was her Master through all those years. A Jedi that was on a level of Yoda and Mace but wasn't granted the rank of Master. Ppl forget that. Eventhough Ahsoka called him Master sometimes. He wasn't one. He was just a Jedi all through Clone Wars. And inadvertently, he taught Ashoka all he knew as a Jedi AND how to Jedi break rules when they didn't make since to him. Ahsoka under that tutelage under the chosen one would make her level up alot quicker than any other Padawan.. Another thing Anakin taught her inadvertently was passion and love.. even if it wasn't directly. He showed emotion with her.. there was countless times he would scold her and yell at her. Then other times he would go through the depths of hell for her when she was in trouble. Their connection became Big brother little sister which also made her stronger. Remember she became commander of her own squad at like 17 and was doing solo missions.... thats why the level up to beat Maul Was realistic. The escape from order 66 was realistic. But now the fight with Vader. I believe alot of that was conflicted emotion with Vader. But she still had grown since they last seen each other.. Remember she killed an inquisitor with no lighsaber when she was in Exile. Where she go her new blades from. .. so if u look at her whole arc. From Palawan, to now. And how she Embraces care and emotion which they say is a path to dark side, but she doesn't go down that path. Makes her stronger. Like Palpatine says. 'I can feel your anger, it makes you stronger, gives you focus."... Ahsoka is the ultimate Force user that is balanced in the Force. Which makes her more powerful than most.

Fam i think Ahsoka is stronger than Luke...You gotta remember as a Exiled Padawan, she went toe to toe with Maul at the height of his rage (the main thing that fuels a Sith Lord's strength). As Fulcrum, a young adult Ahsoka went toe to toe and was one of only a few people to cut Vader who was at the height of his power. This was a Vader who was moving mad and was feared just by his name. You now have an Ahsoka who has trained for a much longer period. She will slap around Luke and Luke I think even recognizes this as you can see the way he speaks to her in Book of Boba Fett. If we were to compare levels, at this stage, shes on the same level as Obi Wan when he fought Vader in Obi Wan Kenobi.
Also this might be a theory but I think the person who Ahsoka is fighting at the end with the double ended light saber may be a turned Ezra. Thrawn may have captured him and broken him to the point where he's now relented to that side, just because the clothing doesn't match either of the two other dark side fighters. I don't know if there are anymore inquisitors at this stage in the story so I could be wrong here.

Just FYI, they confirmed that the old dude and his apprentice are Jedi who survived the Purge and turned to the Dark Side. Or at least the old dude survived it. The girl looks like she is too young to have been alive when that went down.

That episode of Tales of the Jedi where it shows her training with the clones kinda upped her in my mind. Like, if the Jedi are the Navy, Anakin definetly had her on some seal team 6 shit. She was just better than most because her master held her to his insanely high standards. Other jedi were not even challenged in his eyes. He wasn't impressed by any of the standardized jedi tests. It helps me believe she's up there with most higher level Jedi Masters at this point in terms of skill. Maybe not outliers like prime Luke or Anakin, but definetly well above average.

i think shes just more experienced than luke, she would be a better fighter but he would be stronger in the force, shes just under maul and kenobi in my opinion but slightly better than masters like kit fisto, plo and ki adi mundi.

I refuse to believe that Ahsoka with her knowledge of the force and maturity over time since leaving the Jedi, couldn’t beat a Sith lord. For sure she could. She’s older than Luke who didn’t even really finish his training with Yoda and got mentored by Obi Wan who is Anakin level whom she was mentored by. So personally Ahsoka and Luke are about the same level to me at this current point in time of the show

You guys are talking like Ashoka is small change but forget that she saved many a Jedi masters life as a Padawan, even vader could not kill her, deu to his own training of her, stop underestimating the female tagruda who are feral as hell!!! And be assured that she trained Luke for a while..

You right with the Darth Maul thing. Episode 1 Darth Maul would wipe the floor with her.
Young Ahsoka only beat Maul because he wasn't really trying. He was half-trying to recruit her, he actually disarmed her twice and had her on the backfoot before relenting and asking her to join him. And Vader killed/would have killed Ahsoka but Ezra created a new timeline when he rescued her via World Between Worlds.
It’s been stated that at the point of Star Wars rebels, she would be on count dookus level dueling wise

I agree that Ahsoka is Jedi Master level and is on par with Maul. There's only a few people that I consider above her and that's Palpatine, Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Vader, Luke, Windu and Dooku

A few points of interest: We see a clear inspiration and homage to the original book series by Timothy Zahn, the so-called Thrawn trilogy from legends. In the trailer, Ahsoka even says the name of the first book, Heir of the Empire. Orange lightsabers are unprofessionally homemade, unstable, similar to Kylo Ren's. This is a reference to the Dark Forces Jedi Knight game series, where the dark Jedi cult had such swords. From this series, we could already see Dark Troopers used in The Mandalorian. Filoni is a big fan of Legends and uses the best of them in the canon. Dark Jedi - not inquisitors, there are speculations in the trailer that it will be Jorus C'Baoth and Mara Jade. We see Ezra for the first time on the hologram. Hera is the wife of Ewan McGregor :)
