That has been a recall for F 150 tailgates dropping on their own. Don’t know if it’s for 2024 models. Its warranty work, no big deal

Anyone looking for a 2024 - 402A just know I got mines for $70.8k. Don’t believe them when they say that they are at $80k-$82k and not negotiable. Negotiate negotiate and negotiate and shop around. (Texas)
