  • Learn how to use the Shot Pattern app to quickly record every single shot from your round *without any on-course distractions*!
    In this tutorial we'll cover:
    - Setting up your bag so that you're ready to tag shots
    - Selecting the course
    - Tagging shots on each hole
    - Viewing your scorecard, strokes gained, and dispersion stats
    - Viewing your shot by shot round history on the map
    - Making edits & saving incomplete rounds
Every shot you enter in this mode helps build a map of your dispersion across your bag with every club. Then, we can use that dispersion alongside our "Strokes Gained Predictor" tool so that we can help you pick the perfect target on every hole. No other GPS or stats tool gives you anything like this to make the most of your stats and shot history!
It's all possible on the Shot Pattern Golf GPS app, available on the App Store. The app includes a one-week free trial. Download today and start for free:

Being able to enter the shots post-round is a game changer

This looks very interesting, you have to remember your shots of course.
Just a question, I remember that in the app you can 'mark' the ending point of your shots during the actual round (i.e., live while playing).
If I do that during the round, will these actual end points that I captured during the round, already show up and be 'pre populated' in the round entry functionality? I have used shotscope and garmin, and having pre populated shots, made the post round review process much easier (as it jumped my memory).
Hope I express myself clearly. Thanks a lot for your hard work!

@@halmstadt This feature has replaced our shot measuring tool during live play. Far less of a distraction to playing your best golf!

But you have to enter every shot you took by memory. After the round.
Very difficult and not as accurate as a shot sensor on the course.
After doing this a few times obviously it can get a little faster to enter data, IF you can remember accurately each shot.

@@atfinthehouse8631 Hey thanks for checking in. I understand your concern about recalling your shots.
Auto shot tracking has come a long way and is a great option for many; however, even with the all the upgrades on the best system, we’ve found that, at a minimum, putts and pin positions are basically never right and require manual adjustments on every hole. If you’re going to have to adjust your shots manually anyway, we figure why not just start with a blank slate.
Compared to $400 in hardware that will be obsolete in two years + $150/year subscription, we feel like Shot Pattern provides a tremendous alternative for those who want something else.
