Have to agree with the other commenters, only good for short term emergency while running car using fuel otherwise IMO you'd be better off with solar, generator, power bank etc, cant be good for the alternator.
Most CarGenerator owners use it for 2 or 3 hours during the day to simply and quickly recharge their RV batteries, no need to run your vehicle overnight.
Exactly, I was just giving a for instance. There’s endless applications for this. 10 minute use to make coffee… couple few hours to recharge batteries…
Could this be useful? Sure. Is it the best option? Not even close. I wouldn't necessarily call this product a scam, but seriously, just buy a cheap pure sine wave inverter and call it a day. Better yet get a small generator that weighs a little more and puts out the same power using significantly less fuel.
No payment lol. I don’t take payments from anyone. I give my honest opinions and try to provide information for my viewers to make their own decisions as educated as possible.

Why buy something that adds more wear and tear to your vehicle that you need to get around places? Not to mention it's 12v -> 120v -> 12v. There are laws in some areas banning your car/truck idling. I'm assuming a truck engine is much louder than a tiny inverter generator. Quick Google search says 80 dba vs 58 dba. Now, this could be useful in a pinch/emergency, it obviously works... But so could a $50-$150 typical 1000w inverter. They sell them at Walmart, auto parts stores, etc. where you can plug into a cigarette lighter... But if you need full power from it, you have to make a direct battery connection. Only downside is that it's not nicely packaged to hang outside the vehicle... But if you're that worried about all scenarios, then buy a portable generator. If you want something just for emergencies, a standard inverter is more useful inside your car for a fraction of the price, and you can try to rig it up if you ever really need. It took me 5 mins to connect a battery tender to our motorhome's starter battery from under the passenger seat where I piug it in. Same concept. Only 5" of wire is cutting over from the door seal to the hood, no actual install needed. Weather proof. Have just kept it on there for over a year, even while driving.
I completely understand where you are coming from. Definitely wouldn’t argue with your logic. But let me ask you, could you agree that this is a good product for our elderly that don’t have the strength to lift and move around a generator? Or even a fuel can? Just to have a little bit of power for overnight? Not talking about AC or anything just minimal like TV and a cpap? Do you see how this could benefit someone like that?
@@WhyNotRV I can definitely understand the use-case and utility but I think it's limited/niche, irresponsible (to suggest some could idle their engines all night), and expensive. Also, this 1,400w generator is cheaper ($450) and only weighs 33 lbs.

They simply do not want to own, maintain, or wrangle a heavy gas generator. Many people drag around a big heavy gas generator for months and only end up using it a few hours, occasionally. So using your vehicle engine instead is far more convenient and less hassle. That said, if you camp off grid for days in blazing temperatures and need a generator 24/7 around the clock, then a traditional gas generator may be your only choice.

Long periods of idling may be harmful to your engine because combustion chamber temperatures can drop so low that the fuel may not burn completely. Incomplete combustion allows carbon and varnish to form on piston rings, engine valves, and injector nozzles. Also, the unburned fuel can enter the crankcase, diluting the oil and causing rapid wear to the engine.

It’s perfectly fine for the alternator so long as you get the proper size for your vehicles capabilities

It’s an inverter 😂
That it is.
Seems like a pretty terrible idea. For the price just get a champion generator. Way more fuel efficient and won't destroy your alternator.
It’s not for everyone. But it is for a lot of people. I think it serves a great purpose.
