Thanks Kris! Really love your style! Loose but not too loose. I followed along and voila! I got a nice little painting. My husband always asks why I spend so much time studying pigment numbers and brush strokes and so little time doing finished works. Nice little projects like this are a good way to dip my toe in the water so to speak. Your videos are great. Just discovered you but I’m sure I’ll be watching a lot more!

Welcome Rose Mary. I'm very glad to hear you found this tutorial to be helpful. I create these because I find many beginning watercolor artists attempt subject matter that is too complex, too early. Then they get frustrated. I think you are right -- little projects are a good way to get started. Keep on painting! Welcome to the channel.

So beautiful! Is there a place we could download the outline? Thank you for sharing your talent! I really loved how you explained painting blue in highlights. I also love how you are telling us what you are thinking as you paint- so helpful!

It's frustrating not to see the reference photos the artists are using so we can see what is seen to produce the colors.

I'm sorry. I usually provide a link to my reference images online, but I am unable to find this one. It has been about a year ago that I painted this...and I've lost the reference. So sorry.
