I'm so sorry to hear you are still not feeling better Eveline. I feel exactly the same about going to the doctor and dentist. For your throat, you might try drinking a glass of water before bed and immediately taking a tablespoon of high quality extra virgin olive oil and putting it to the back of your tongue so it will coat your throat and hold the moisture of the water to help keep your throat lubricated. I used to lose my voice often when I taught school. An Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor recommended it to me, and it absolutely worked. Lots of healthy enzymes in the olive oil. Also, if there is a health food store that has a high quality Elderberry extract (syrup) that you can add to your water and drink, it helps amazingly well when you are sick, especially with viral infections. I have it always in my cupboard at home. If I begin to feel sick, I start taking it immediately, and many times, after about two days, I am no longer sick. Make sure to refrigerate it after you have opened the bottle. The pups are living it up on vacation, and sweet little Chouchou is learning well from her Mum Coco and Grandma Loub! I just wish you weren't sick! Try to get as much rest (sleep) as you can Eveline. It will help so much! I am much like Fred when it comes to injustices... Very upsetting! Love to all of you! Lisa

This is something that helps me but I’m not a medical doctor. If you can get organic oregano oil with a dropper to put it into clear capsules, those will help your chest and overall. You will feel the warmth in your chest. If you can find it at an apothecary or health food store they will have all the things you need. 4 capsules spread out during the day. You cannot take oregano oil without it being in a capsule. Especially helps with long term cough.

Once I was in Quito Ecuador and couldn't stop throwing-up for many days. In Mexico City I had to be transported to an hospital because I was passing kidney stones! My experience with my children ( now adults) is when a cough lasts a long time an antibiotic is really needed to get rid of it. Of course, water, tea with lemon and honey. Eveline, the cough syrup with codon will help you sleep with no cough. I have similar medication. I only take 1/2 teaspoon. Since I do not go swimming in cold water, giving my body time to rest. I felt better after 3 days. I slept alot but my cough all gone, inflammation, and body aches.

Eveline, the cough syrup with codon will help you sleep with no cough. I have similar medication. I only take 1/2 teaspoon. Since I do not go swimming in cold water, giving my body time to rest. I felt better after 3 days. I slept alot but my cough all gone, inflammation, and body aches.

Hope you feel better soon! I can’t imagine having to go to a doctor in another country, trying to speak a language I’m not super comfortable with. Even speaking to my own doctor, in my native language, I get oddly nervous & end up being like, “um…I feel, uh, I don’t feel good”😂😂😂
