I will be a full time RVer in the very near future in a Roadtrek 190. Prior to my retirement in 2015, after 38 years on the road as an OTR truck driver/owner operator, I am ready to do it AGAIN, only on MY terms this time!...no bosses, no time limits, no DOT cops...just me, gas stations, and, the open road! Also, thanks to YOU I have delved deeply back into video editing! Ever since I saw you jump into the box that once contained your microwave I have been beating Google up for new software! I cannot give you enough praise regarding your editing skills in words...but, your skills ARE definitely the very best I have ever seen in my 26 year computer operating experiences! You can get uprated hydraulic arms for the rear tailgate and also for pop tops, for when you have a roof rack. Just do a Google or Ebay search. I should think VW will supply them, but probably pretty pricey.

Really loved binge watching your vids, very well put together and great content.
Apparently Ford based vans have major security issues as there are a lot of owners on UK motorhome facebook pages reporting them being stolen. We plumped for a Fiat based Chausson and are so glad that we did. I must say though that your van looks awesome. I also love the look of those Westfalia vans.

Those Ford Transit Campervans are hot. Well executed on the inside and sporty on the outside. Ford doesn't even sell that version Transit van in North America.Wish I could import one.

Ah, missed yer!! Was there Wednesday and Thursday. Will be looking forward to your review of the Westfalia. I was very impressed by them. Am still not any nearer deciding which van to get though..... Nothing quite fitting the bill for me yet :-(

Loved the Martini Racing Van, Lizzie in a former life when I wore cammo for a living, my camper van had tracks and a big gun on top of it lol. It was definitely over 3.5 tonnes. Great vid guys ( where did you hide my special show sticker for Saturday?) hopefully see you soon x big 👍

In our area...people are restricted from using soft pop tops etc for camping in places like Yellowstone and Glacier because of the grizzlies....and other bears..... all food etc has to be in bear proof containers and bears just rip open those campers... new airstreams are spendy even in the states...but older ones are pretty affordable
My family want me to watch a movie but California camping must come first

The Travel Troll apparently it takes something like 9 coats of paint but yes it is possible!
I found you guys just last night and I'm enjoying your videos (I'm slowly working my way through them all), but my question is, we are a family of five with 2 almost teens and a 4 year old so is there any campers in the california/terrier size that would be best suited for our family, we will be using it as a daily driver and day trips with the occasional camping, any help would be great full, thanks for any help and keep up the good work
Kris D Maybe a California with an awning you can also sleep in? A family of 5 may be tricky with just a Cali. There certainly are many options out there to choose from though. Best advice would be to go to a show like this with an open mind and look at what might work for you.

Please can you tell me what that last van was on the video. You didn't film much of it but from what i did see it looks exactly the moho/van I'm looking for.
Not crazy about the paint on the Kepler Six, looks like something off a 70's waterski boat.
Wow what a great show! Wish I had gone but I’m off to the NEC in March for the photography show so thought it a bit greedy to go to both, regretting that decision now 🙀 question for you, now that you have had your Cali’ for a while, if you were about to buy a VW camper now would you stick with the Cali’ ocean or would you buy a converted van such as the Westfalia? I’m interested to know as I’m so not sure what to do myself now as some of the conversions are really nice, especially in your video here. I’m also thinking that a converted van might be better for my dog as they appear to have more leg room when the bed is down as they generally are not the sliding variety. Keep up the great work, your videos are going from strength to strength. Really enjoying watching them 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🙏🙏
moira chalmers We love our Cali but you definitely need to do what’s right for you! There are long wheel base vans which certainly have more room for dogs and people which may be preferable for you? 😊
We're thinking of getting a Cali, but I was impressed at the way the bed folds forward on the Bilbo's Celex, and how much floor space there still is even on the SWB version. There's also lots of space under the front bit of the bed, which our spaniel would love...

That westfalia with the L shaped lounge in the T6 Kepler one looks perfect is the table permanently fixed?
It sure is and surprisingly sturdy, so you can actually use it! Let's down to help make part of the 'double' bed. Also opens up to one very large table, unheard of in other T6's. So good in fact we ordered one at Dusseldorf, with delivery finally taking place in April :)
Good video, dont know about the constant introduction to all your friends, maybe you can keep that off camera, then you can get in more show coverage?

Lets agree; ‘Cool’ doesn’t solve anything. I love your channel but can show descriptions such as cool don’t tell me much beyond that you have been dazzled by some flashy feature. I.e. the upper cabinets that have long latches but descend into a smallish cabinet that won’t hold a tin of biscuits. Why did you think they were ‘cool?’
