Yeah I agree its gone a bit unnoticed, I think maybe the NA 458 still attracts people and the F8 Tributo is finally as fast as competition. The 488 seems to just be a car in-between I'm not sure

I actually rented one of these for a drive through the hills surrounding Maranello. It's an experience tattooed directly into my brain... The insane acceleration is one thing but it's the steering and the sense of absolute control that define the experience

That has to be one of my favourite videos of yours. I got a true sense of what it would feel like to be driving such a fantastic super car. The 488 tends to sit under the radar in my opinion, and having been superseded by the Pista, and now the F8 Tributo, for those of you lucky enough to be able to afford such a car, I would suggest this is an excellent buy.

You were correct, the rear flaps under the diffuser are active aerodynamics like F1’s DRS (drag reduction system). 👍
The gtb is the perfect blend of supercar and gt cruiser

Splurged and rented a 2018 in Vegas for the day, it was a religious experience, one of the best things I’ve ever done! Went out into the desert - I highly recommend it!

Such a smart marketing move, people directly make the connection with DDE, free advertisment for them. By the way the logo isn't stolen, they just use a font, just like DDE. The font is also used by Lamborghini in Aventador. DDE has no copyright on their logo just their name and in DDC in not one word the same. Smart thinking by the new rental compagny. Imagine how many hits they get on their website by doing this.

These are an absolute bargain now in the UK... I drove a 458 Speciale in Italy and it was bonkers, the gear shifts are ridiculous, Ferrari is heaven.... 😍😍😍
As cool as an 8000 rpm V8 is, I can’t wait to hear Gordon Murray’s new T50 on the street. A Cosworth designed 3.9 V12 revving to 12,100 rpm. I’ve always waited for a car that could push over 10,000 rpm. Being into bikes all my life 16,000 to 17,500 rpm is pretty standard

Max is a really good driver at these speeds-most people cannot judge distances properly as in breaking for cars in front of you. The speed differentials with the slow cars can be 180kmh !!!!
