Actually it's the worst car in the segment..
No option of turbo petrol or hybrid,
Lots of missing features even useful ones,poor sound insulation, nor going to be the safest after seeing amaze crash test results,looks from the rear portion aren't that great.
Ivtec engine is less free revving than the one in the city and top speed is limited to just 160 kmph.even Swift,Baleno,i10 reaches 165 kmph.
Interior design is not to be called simple but an extremely lazy approach .

Good comparison. Butif a buyer is searching for a SUV in the market this review wont help much! You should compare NA engines, Turbo engines separate. Creta and Seltos both are good options but we have to pay high price! So share some VFM models. Combination of features, comfort and safety should be considered.

The real heart of suv is only diesel engine not petrol
Tell this when your 20 lakh car shall go scrap in just 10 years with almost 1/10th resale value. In foreign countries, even large SUVs with 2.5 ton weight are also Petrol powered.

Aptly Put: Elevate can't be described well in brochure but most practical car. Ticks all the basics right, the only missing thing in this segment. But according to use cases, you can't go wrong with any of them except panoramic sunroof nonsense.
I need an advice. I got an offer to buy 2023 grand vitara from showroom only brand new wuth discount upto 1.5 lkh for top model
Should I consider it as I have concers about its battery life as it is showroom for past 1 year
You can consider provided vehicle is in good condition. Please conduct an inspection.
Batteries are often disconnected if the car has remained in storage for long. So it’s unlikely there’s an issue there.
However, you can request the showroom to change the battery if required, they will comply with such a request. Worst case scenario, you’ll have to bear the cost of the battery.
Could you please suggest the car under 20/21 Lacks .. My 1st Preference is Safty ..

No major concerns. Best to switch to neutral at traffic lights or jams.
they made it so slow compared to 1st gen that it feels like amt but at the same time NO HEATING
For 19 l elevate give you top variant where as you have s(o) variant of creta which is all plastic cabin and many other features missing
What features are missing in s(o) except Adas .....even it has more features like panoramic sunroof , sunshades electric parking brake in automatic
@@LaughingTeddy there's no leather wrapping anywhere only hard touch plastic even on the steering wheel. Just a casual fabric seats. No diamond cut alloys. No Adas or adaptive cruise control. Infotainment system is very tiny with some black plastic all around which doesn't look good for a seamless big display they put in. And even instrumenta console is also gimmicky, u get a tiny display in the middle and two big digit display on side. Talking about the sunroof, in india we have to keep it shut bc of dust. And it increases the heat even when kept it shut so a smaller one is sensible.

Unless price & variants are mentioned, it is never going to be a fair comparison. Most of the praised features in seltos & creta are present in the top models which cost around 22-24Lakhs, while Honda top variant is only at 19L. Even the Hyryder hybrid top variant goes upto 23L
If you’re shopping by price, the Elevate is best compared with the Creta SX or Seltos HTX+ or the Hyryder/Grand Vitara non-hybrid.

Both are 4.5m SUVs with larger engines. This comparo focused on the 4.3m SUV segment.
If seen in Price Point Nexon And 3xo offers more value for money and also Safety is also 5 star
Those are compact SUVs. People want to buy mid size SUVs coz of more room and the bulky look or road presence they have and they are not as expensive as full size SUVs. Compact SUVs are similar to hatchbacks and road presence is poor.
You shouldn't compare cars from different segments as it makes no sense. It's like telling why should I buy an iPhone when I can get all these features in a much cheaper Android.
Plus I would not compare a 3xo small turbo , to a 1.5 of a midsize SUVs it's a day and night difference

Yes agree the ventilated seat is the only missing (but rest : 360 camera and panaromic roof is mere gimmick and possibly more of safety hazard)

The Seltos is the best in the segment. It has the most features, premium interiors, Multiple engine options, It is also good looking. Only downside is safety which is average.
VW / Skoda ka AC Performance 45°C mein itna poor hai .... Driving Dynamics or Safety ka kya hi krenge log ... Jab gaadi mein baitha hi nhi jayega itni garmi mein .... To kya hi chalegi gaadi ... Taigun for me. Safety is my priority. The features and look of the new gt sport model are fabulous. Much better than in the video above.
In India, Safety needs to start becoming a priority.
Kia and creta- very good but very unsafe. Poor Safety standards. Rating for child Safety is 2 star.
Hyryder- such a great hybrid engine. But l took on look at the sunroof with a simple thin net like cover and l knew l would suffer in india.If you are a girl you will understand. Skin and hair health is a priority 😊The car gets extreme hot. There is no accessories available yet to help with the problem . Also they do not have good Safety rating.
I dint look at elevate or xuv300 because l was in love with the Taigun and it's exceptional lava blue colour.
In general for me the Taigun gt sport is beautiful inside out with good Safety and all the features l use. I know l won't have the amazing mileage like the Hyryder . But as a girl l can't have the sun piercing though my sunroof. 😂 lt was my 1st choice but toyota needs to think about Indian women. 😅

Honda Elevate ZX cvt is more VFM product and latest SUV. Over-all an excellent car from Honda India. I purchased immediately when it was launched. Excellent driving seat with rear seat comfort and biggest boot.

Two major wrong statements in this video about Elevate. 6 airbags are only in the top spec and no head rest for middle passenger in elevate at all.
