I think that the move by Pat McGrath to put a sticker on an old palette, that was on sale for half price without the sticker, was super SHADY!
I can totally relate.. “playing with makeup, taking a pic and taking it off” 😂 90% of my eye shadow looks never get to see the light of day!

I’m officially cancelling PatMcgraph as a brand first able I’m cruelty free and she’s not cruelty free but claims to be but is proved by cruelty free rescores that she’s not also with her Star Wars Part 2 collection I felt so offended I’m a Star Wars fan the audacity she had to put on a sticker onto her already existing palette charge it full price and call it a day pissed me off for a luxury brand that’s just not it even Colourpop does better collabs that are thought through with the packaging being imprinted onto the packaging itself also the fact she put her already existing back on full price and not anymore on sale after getting called out on her Star Wars collection and wasn’t transparent enough to apologize for it made me dislike her even more that’s just shady behavior coming from such a luxury brand definitely not a brand I wanna start supporting also I wouldn’t be surprised if PatMcgraph would be filled for chapter 11 of bankruptcy I mean she had so many products on huge sale for months now it’s kinda giving off the vibe that her brand is going downhill this year that is one of the brands that’s gonna go outta business this year I mean she brings out nothing exciting anymore no new foundations, concealers, setting powder and other products it’s always the same boring palettes with the same boring color stories over and over again and expect us to buy everything she releases that’s just horrible and shady marketing which I really dislike about brands
aurora struck is my new favorite omg!! stone cold fox will always have my heart and will be number 1 BUT aurora struck is STUNNING!!! it's so beautiful💜💙

It makes me so happy to see someone else love the Colourpop Fairy Well palette as much as I do! I picked it up when it launched in Ulta and it was my staple palette through the holidays 😍😍
I felt the Viseart surprise with the London palette. It was an unexpected love. I still may pick up all three new quads.
I bought the Lunar New Year Pat McGrath palette because I had been wanting the original and I officially dislike her eyeshadow. The only matte blends away and fades to pink through the day and the rose gold shimmer just flakes off. I’ll stick with her blushes.
Still having a little regret for not getting the Fairy Well palette.
Edited to add: those cover girl trios were my jam in high school in the early 90s.
Please, PLEASE try Lisa Eldridge's products 🙏🏻. Ok, I know you think the palettes are pricey but, her formulas are outstandingly wonderful AND her SIX pan palettes compare very favourably against the TF quads.
Then there are her lip products ~ yes, ALL of them ~ They are truly amazing!!!
Oh yes, her customer service is THE BEST I've ever experienced.
I can't, honestly, believe that you haven't "bit the bullet" and tried this awesome brand!

Shimmering Sands was my one and only eyeshadow palette back in 2004 and I wore it everyday - it was perfect for me (blue eyes) - I didn't know it was still available - I must get one!!
When I opened the darthvader one vs the r2d2 I was like “woah” the sparkles were so intense. Like looking at her lipsticks with the layer or sparkle before you use it.

Something to think about... For the same price that you pay for a Mothership palette, instead go try an indie brand. You'll be shocked at the variety and quality. Most of them have many different formulas, many different colors. Plus you get to curate your own color story. Plus the quality is better than PML.
I’m honestly going to take a break from Pat McGrath, it’s really strange to me that no one is talking about the huge mess this collection is and I am not talking about the stickers.
I’m talking about how many customers have missing items from their orders, have reached out to customer support and are waiting for a response for over over a week? And some close to 3 weeks. No one replies back.
I’m missing the Golden one 5 pan that I paid for, have written to customer support 3 times and have been waiting for close to 2 weeks now with no reply.
I’ve written in instagram posts by the brand, and nothing has helped.
Meanwhile the brand ignores this entirely, no posts saying that they are aware customers are waiting for a reply and that they apologise for that or anything.
This is not the experience one expects from a luxury brand that charges luxury prices.
I’ve been a fan for several years, this is a first for me.
No one is talking about how the brand is basically gaslighting everyone about when they were sending Divine Droid out. Their shipping and customer service are both atrocious

I personally don’t get the obsession with PML. I have one of her small palates and the shadows were nice, but to me it’s not worth the high price. Then this whole mess with the Star Wars collection just seems shady.
That color story from color girl you can get that from the Dollar Tree with LA Colors.

OMG! Shimmering Sands was my favorite eyeshadow in the 90's.
I'm confused because the quints are meant to be affordable. I'm not sure exactly what people are expecting with the packaging especially if the formula is still really nice.. I'll personally take these quints over the quads EVERY day. The quads were so hit or miss and lack luster in formula. These are affordable and still really nice pallets plus an extra shade comparatively to the quads.
For me it’s a pattern of her packaging going down in quality over the past few years and her eyeshadows shrinking in size. The formula in the quints is amazing but the brand has been cheapening everything for the past two years and it’s sad to see.

PMG Star Wars collab was disappointing. I didn't bother with it. I am a huge Star Wars fan. PMG claims to be as well. I thought she would have done better. Also, looks very similar to previous launches.
