I only recently went in on this line so I've been looking up some collection video's to see which characters I want and I gotta say... this is a beautiful collection! Not the most complete but definitely one of the best looking. Just the way you have everything set up and the collection as a whole... it looks absolutely stunning. Love the photography at the end too, I always prefer outdoor pics when it comes to toy photography.
Wow, just amazing. Your collection is the most beautiful one I've ever witnessed both here in youtube and in real life. I don't know if it's complete since I don't know if all Classics figures you showed represent the entire Classics line, but it's breathtaking. And even the way you have displayed your collection is very beautyful. I'm trying to collect most (not all) of the Masterverse New Eternia line figures, and they are really cool, but the Classics line is the most beautiful and detailed collection of figures of the past and the present. I'm surprised by its level of quality and detail, it shows a real labor of love from the producers, and I think it's very rare nowadays. This collection rocks!🤘
Thanks. Though, I think you're exaggerating a bit about it being the best. It's very far from complete. As I state in the video, I only have what was also made in the vintage line. The Classics line has numerous Filmmation, New Adventures, 200x, mini-comic, She-Ra, and new characters. I would have loved if this line got to a Fright Zone and several more vehicles, particularly the Land Shark, Road Ripper, and Dragon Walker. But yeah, I believe Classics is much, much better than anything MOTU-related that has come out since, such as Origins or MasterVerse.
Beautiful. I backed out of the classics line about 4 years into it, and sold all of my stuff. Last year I decided to try and do what you did and get the OG line in classics form……..it’s not cheap, haha. But I think they’re beautiful and better than anything being done today.
Very impressive and some good photography at the end. The Tytus character looks a lot like Conan. Miss a lot about the 80's appreciate you bringing some of it back. Also got to see Jan Man in this video, stay safe and well my friend.
The classics line is a rare instance of my dream of the product actually living up to the marketing materials for once coming true. I had the same hope for video games/arcade cabinets. Instead of whatever was happening on the side of defender or Space Invaders, which could have been awesome, we got goofy blocky bullshit for decades until they finally made Skyrim. (Oblivion was just ok) (But it really should have been Dungeons and Dragons.) Here is one of the times it is exactly correct. The dream and the reality finally meet without compromise. In that way it is more exciting than the vintage figures even though they have a powerful nostalgic value. I'm almost never saying the new thing is better but here I feel this is the case. This was my favorite toy line so I'm not disrespecting the originals, they were/are great, but these are just so perfect it's staggering. I feel it is one of the best toylines in history, rivaling the vintage when they were released in terms of significance in the context of their market/world. Thanks for sharing, I appreciated it very much.
Wow, what a collection. I had loads of the original collection when i was a kid, in the 80's🤣. But unfortunately lost over time. If i remember rightly castle greyskull and snake mountain had voice modulator mic's, so you could sound like Skullator and He-man, those were the days 👍.
Great video and an awesome display! I'm also an 80s kid so MOTU was my life. I just started collecting a couple of years ago with mostly vintage figures and then started incorporating other lines like Classics and Origins to make an epic action diorama. That might sound weird because of the height and style differences but it works well because in real life we come in different shapes and sizes. I can't wait to set it up after I unpack. What do you think about the current state of MOTU? There's a couple of new toylines, a couple of new shows, and everybody has an opinion. Personally I can't wait for Revelation and despite some of the vitriol out there I still believe it's a great time to be a MOTU fan!
No matter what happens, there will always be the 80's MOTU. That's what I love. Hopefully people can enjoy this collection video for what it is - an ode to 80's MOTU and the Classics line. Did you check out my retrospective on the Filmation cartoon?
Do you have any tips for beginners? I like realistic figures that look closest to the original cartoon. As seen on tv, super7 filmation and classics, but classics are way too expensive for my pockets.

I miss those days. Thank you for the memories, JMC!!
The most amazing collection in the universe .
By the Power of GraySkull . I have the power!!!! 🗡️💪
I loved the cartoon as a kid but only remember a few of the main characters. So funny hearing some of the names. Mosquitor, Fistor, Stinkor🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Silly, but the kid in me loves them!
Actually a perfect collection. Love the looks of it. Great video. Love the end shots. Earned my sub!

I agree - aesthetically, no MOTU line (though vintage is vintage) is better.

Thanks! Though you only see a distorted Jan Man. 😜
Look up the character Vikor from Motu Classics. He has a strong likeness to Conan.

That was just Snake Mountain that had the voice modulator. :) And yes, those were the days I'm still hanging onto!

Amazing collection! What is the castle grayskull on your collection? Where did you buy it? It doesn't look like the mattel one.
Hi friend this is impressive, do you have She Ra figures, Catra, Scorpia, Shadow Weaver, Octavia, Entrapta, Vultak the Vulture Warrior
Do you have any tips for beginners?
