- Lots of goodies have arrived! I'm beyond excited to see if i can safe that dash though! I'm thinking maybe leave it with the exposed motherboard look? or maybe tint the edges like the original? ALSO very excited for that ignition to arrive so I can if the bike fires right up! Thanks for watching!

Okay, ignition is in Las Vegas now. I'll probably get it tomorrow and will get a key made for you quick. But hey, one thing to note... my name is Cary, that's how guys spell it. If I was a she, it would probably be like Keri or Carrie or something. I'll need an official retraction on that one, CJ! Haha. My friends are gonna have fun with this one. I'll try and get some video of me and my 12 year old son working in it for you.
Nice!
🤣o my goodness, I knew I should have checked. My apologies SIR! 🤣 I'll never recover from such a mistake....
Thank you SIR! Looking forward to seeing your work!

That glue is UV and was used in various smartphones. The easiest way to remove it is with acetone (very gently) and isopropyl alcohol for details. Next time to remove the glass without the risk of damaging the screen, I recommend using an LCD Touch Screen Removing Wire Roll. Greetings from Argentina. I love your work.
Javier! You're right, I'll have to use for the next time! Greetings to you in Argentina!
Audio doesn't seem to be working CJ. Is it just me?
Edit: Must've been because I was too early (56 seconds) and the processing wasn't done yet. Seems fine now.

Same here bud i thought my speaker was off 🤣
Yes same prob mate ı think ı has a mic prob 🤪

That weird glue is called OCA(optical clear adhesive) which is used in mobile phones to stick screen and main glass.
You still need to stick the after market glass to the screen with OCA which is a tricky job.
Thanks Rajat! This info is very helpful!
The glue should be oca glue which was used on the older smartphone screens. It hardens under uv light and you can clear up with isopropyl alcohol! That's my assumption...you can try out the cleanup process on the glass what you removed! The oca glue can be ordered online or you can go to a phone repair shop and they can glue the glass professionally. You can search for a defect display with a good glass and the phone shop should be able to transplant it. But first be sure that your display is actually working! Nice content, keep the good work on! Greetings from Romania!
I really appracite this information! Thank you. I might have to take it to a shop for them to do the UV light gluing process, so I don't mess up and cost myself. Greetings to you in Romania!
Hey I know this is a bit too late try Abba sky lift stand hydraulic type .
Your spine and muscles will thank you for the help.
Never hammer the axial it has to slide in by hand .
When a bike gets into a crashes try to loosen all structural bolts and tighten back to spec just to release any tweaked parts.
Always pair new sprockets front and rear with new chain. Try not to use old sprockets.
Use same tires to avoid wobble.
Don't loose the happiness that you have fixing bikes .
If you want try to plant this engine into a Lotus 23 B chassis with a Zcars rear diff box . It will be the best race car you will enjoy for a long time.
🤣 sir if you can point me in the direction lotus 23B chassis that would be so much fun.
I am currently looking into a lift! Thanks man, my back and spine need it already 😂
This glue is called OAC (optically clear adhesive). You can take it to a phone repair shop they can remove the adhesive and attach the glass with some new adhesive. If done properly it would be hard to notice the difference from a new one. BTW, Love your work.
Thank you Ishraq! Might be my next plan of action!
I'm rebuilding a Bajaj Boxer BM 125cc(doubt if you've heard of it), that was ruined by my rider whom I had leased it to. Man, restorations are such a task and costly it's crazy. Today I was cleaning the engine and replacing a rusty bolt in the starter, I'm soo worn out it's crazy. Good stuff man you really inspire me.
Wow Erick sounds like rough work! Thanks man cheers
I watched many bikes rebuilding videos which are so boring first but this guy makes rebuilding so much exciting that I wait every week that when he's gonna upload.Great work Buddy. BTW your video editing is dope👍👍👍👍
Many thanks to you Aditya! Appreciate your kind words! Cheers to you!

Bro u don’t even know how much i enjoy this series , keep it up ❤
Thank you bro! Will do my best!
Love the videos and it’s great to see you bring these bikes back from the dead. See ya ✌️!
✌️cheers mark
on the chain replacement, you forgot to put back small sprocket (front) plastic cover bit.
Correct! I just decided to leave it off untill I get my chain situation figured out!
Top work as always - hope your planned screen glass replacement works! 🤞
You and me both Mike! Cheers sir!
i love that you clean every think so properly
Thanks Abu! It makes my mind happy 🤣
That's what i was waiting for your video dude. We need long video so that we can enjoy the content with having some popcorns and coke beside brother. Again the video and information is awesome love from India
Thanks man 🤣 well I guess you'll have to wait for a few months and then come back my channel when I have a full series of a new bike and then you can grab your popcorn and coke and watch the whole thing 😂
@@CJMediaOfficial Nah man single episode are good for me.. But plss make it little bit longer so the viewers can enjoy the video an information that is been shared by you.
Use Meguairs 'glaze' compound' to bring back the carbon..if really bad use a liquid compound Megs Scratch X for example...can always clear coat again.. To clean all the dirt, grease and muck grab a stiff painters brush...long handle, or pick up a auto detail set that uses brushes.. I use a long handle painter brush ..small about 1" or 2 wide if not stiff enough I cut down the bristles... wrap the metal band which holds the bristles w/ blue or Duc tape to avoid damaging the bike when detailing. Use WD40 or K&N filter degreaser ...works great..saturate area to be cleaned, scrub w/ a brush, done ...Enjoy your videos !!
Thank you Carl! Cheers
Im existing for this video
Dude I love the journey so far. Can't wait for the next one.
Thanks Branwen! Much appreciated
I do screen refurbishing for a living, that "glue" that you see can easily be removed by heat and a soft school rubber but you need an screen hoven vacuum to seal the new one. You also need to detach the screen from the casing.
Thank you Kostas! I might have to take it to a local screen shop to get that special process taken care of
Can't wait till Sunday 7 P.M every week brother. Love this series and the other ones too, all the way from NorthEast India 👍👍
I am from south 😅 cheers man

Greetings sir! Thank you
Hi CJ, definitely you know how to tell your stories.......good job!
Really appreciate that Ricardo! Means a lot cheers!
love watching your channel man! these changes are incredible when you show it part by part!
Thank you Fain! Cheers
Awesome videos! I can't believe you can keep such a positive attitude throughout the video when I'd be cursing up a storm.
FYI, a small tip I learned from an older youtuber named Marcel Irnie when he was turning a stock bmw s1000rr into a professional racebike is to use much less lube on the front and rear axle than you might think. It needs to be coated with a thin, almost invisible layer. Anymore than that creates drag. For wheel or headstock bearings though, load it up as much as possible it seems.
Thanks man! Haha it's frustrating at times but once I work through it, I see how simple it was and that no foul language or getting mad at myself was needed!!
That's a great tip to know, thank you very much
Loving the content man! Keep it up! This and the BMW 1000rr are probably my favorite builds to date!
Thank you Devon! You and me both man, gorgeous bikes!
Keep doing what you do and perfect... I wish I'd have access to salvage bikes like you do
I'm very blessed! Thank you Cheers !
yes u need to remove the glue but its tricky not to damage the plastic screen
great job
Got it TnA! Thanks!!
Love seeing the progress!
Thank you Mani! I'm very eager to hear this Full Akra in ACTION! 🔥😎
you've got a new sub here....I have been watching your amazing work for a while now, so talented
Thank you Joel! All talents are straight from God!
I believe the glue called oca is for anti glare purposes which is why once adhered you won't see it seem plenty of people use isopropyl to remove it in the cell phone world. Also when removing glass the heat gun is the way or better yet a heating plate made specifically for this you can use some cutting wire and pull up as you cut with it once its up to temp. That way it minimises any damage you might cause with a blade. And finally they possibly used a special vacuum machine to bond the glass to the screen so might be tricky for you to do so without causing headache for yourself.
Thank you for this! I guess my method of removing the glass was a bit "rough" lol. I will have to use that Isopropyl to get the remaining glue off! Still deciding on what to do for the bonding, cheers
Wow this bike coming together looks amazing, great video as always ❤ much love 💯
Thank you Aaron! Right back at you 💯
I would love to see the total of the build once your done with it! If you don’t mind sharing that is. I’m only at 5:30 on part 4 , so if you do at the end, sorry for getting no ahead of myself!
This body R1 is the best Yamaha ever built IMO, its the first Yami I like. I have a 08 CBR600RR that I wanna make a track only bike and get either this style R1m or BMW S1k but I honestly wouldn’t mind rebuilding one to have the parts I want on it.
Great video man
Hey Tyler!! The total price reveal is at the end haha no spoilers 🤣 no worries that sounds like an awesome plan, if you do rebuild go for it!! You got this
Damn. Wish I would have seen this build earlier. I have the left and right side handlebar controls brand new never used because I replaced mine as soon as the bike was delivered with Jetprime button switches.
No worries Castro! I appreciate that. I didn't have to sell my kidneys for them so it wasn't a big deal
Worried about the screen. I can’t imagine it’s as easy as replacing the glass. We will see!
Worth a shot!! I'm excited to see what's to come
It’s so amazing to watch this series. Good job and keep up the good work. I’d get so upset when I mess up something small like a piece of the chain, however, you give so much positivity and motivation not to give up.
Awesome series man 😃 love it! ♥️ cant wait for the other 🔥
Thanks Goveen! More to come!
I love the Bible verses at the end of every video such a nice touch to the ending may god bless you in all types of ways brother stay blessed
Thanks for the videos CJ 💯👌👍🇦🇼
My pleasure Jonathan! Cheers 🇦🇼

Bringing a bike back to life ❤
Exactly!
Man you make it look so easy and then when I look at my bike trying to fix some issues is like from another world hahah nice videos
🤣 I wish it was easy and it looked Juan! Editing can do wonders. I'll let you in on a secret, that chain took me an hour to attach 🫣🫣🫣 no bueno
Always very satisfying to watch the cleaning process.....and damn dude...slick mustang...very handsome

You're going to become the goonzquad of motorcycles! Keep it up man! GJ
That's quite ambitious 🤣 much appreciated nun the less. The goons have a work ethic and consistency I've never seen before, very very impressive.
Should be able to use isopropal alcohol to clean off the glue. Unclear what glue they have used though but I would think a clean surface with new glue would be paramount to reduce any blemishes
You're right Slowie! A clean surface is a must for the new glass
Changing the chain and cleaning the gunk up is my most hated job but has to be done still loving the vids bro
Much appreciated Breene! I agree, my goodness taking the chain apart is easy but splicing together was another story... practice makes perfect ig!
Well I guess this ain't no budget build
My man gettin everything new.......
🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Non of my builds are budget builds 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ur a such a good mechanic and good at detailing the restoration keep it up man!
Thanks John! Just learning
you are very detailed even the screws must be the same as the original is really amazing and I like i

Congrats on moving the Mustang. Bravo.
Thank you torr! She's in good hands
Good job beautiful rear wheel, best of luck
Cheers momo! Much appracited 👊
They use UV activated LCD glue that we use in phone screens. For future, best way to remove them heat and fishing line :)
For cleaning the LCD screen you can use IPA alcohol ;)
You're right arda! Thank you sir
I'm really sorry for watching off sync but I just discovered your channel and wanted to be help without realizing that was a old episode...
I love to learn new way of doing things so I like to share my way. Respect to your way! 💯
Awesome video again. Can't wait to see some upgrades again to the shop!
Thanks Wesley!! Any recommendations?
Awesome dude. You shouldn't normally need anything extra with chains... I would recommend a gold DID though but it all should come at the correct length from my experience
He never had a master link. Now that hes cut it again hes going to need a new chain with a master link.
Thank you sir! I'll have to look into the gold DID chain!
Ayeeee rossos 3 10/10 tire bro if you throw them on grip is everywhere on it wishing you the best bro I'm seating back and watching you grow 😂💯
