Wow what a fab video , I cant wait for the next one . You could take over David Attenborough's job , your voice is so soothing. Much love to you all from UK 💕💕💕
WOW You got so close to a bull elephant !!! A bull elephant !!! And only £20 to enter the Safari park. You'd have to pay at least £40 here in Britain 😀
This is amazing how wonderful making wonderful beautiful life time memories and exceptional experience. Thank you so much for taking us along it is greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
So excited to see you're visiting my end of the world. Subscribers, please come visit any or all of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe or South Africa. Well worth the travels and pure soul food. Spent Easter weekend in the Kruger. Because of rain we didn't see many animals but even bird life can be entertaining. Looking forward to finding out more about people of Namibia and their lifestyles.
Elephant's such beautiful, magnificent creatures! ...I get a magical feeling every time I see an Elephant! I just wish they were more protected from the disgraceful poachers who just take their beautiful, magnificent feature , their tusks! . Have a fabulous time in a beautiful country.. 😊❤
Peace and blessings. Thank you so much for sharing your experience in this safari. I'm currently planning my family trip to Namibia and this safari looks right my alley, as a beginner. I cannot wait to see my daughter's face when we see this safari and also Africa for that matter This will be our first time traveling to the continent.
It's good that you both focused on the richness of life in the harshest of environments. Thanks. Having lived most of my life on the edge of a wildlife reserve in East Africa, I am accustomed to stopping for elephant on my way to work, for example. However, with increasing drought and unpredictable rains I worry greatly for the future.
Fascinating country, thanks for posting. I did a two week solo self drive camping safari in Namibia in October 2022. It's truly great to stay inside Etosha National Park. The early morning game drives are incredible and the Okaukuejo waterhole at night is amazing. 9:20 is at Halali campsite waterhole. 18:42 Ozonjuitji m'Bari waterhole.
That was soooo good! It felt like I was travelling with you! That elephant did come a bit too close for comfort for me, as much as I would have been thrilled to see that animal close up. Looking forward to your next instalment! 😊
You certainly are a good narrator Mac. I think you should make travel videos professionally your videography's not bad either. Thanks for another fabulous journey. P.s. Where are the kids?
Namibia is not a country that springs to mind when planning a holiday, but after watching this it makes me want to do some research. I would love to experience what you did. Definitely self drive for us.
Incredible documentary standard work Mac. I feel truly blessed to be included in your YT family and enjoy your travels beit here or a farmers market. Loved the zabra being a stubborn git in front of your car. 350 Dollars a day!!! I nearly had a heart attack, and then you said "Namibian" - you got me, man....Where were the kids??? Looking forward to the next video...
Namibia gets water from mist coming in off the sea. That’s how the desert creatures survive. They put up nets there now to trap the moisture. I get your point about the goats, but having too many of them has destroyed the vegetation and land in many African countries. So, goats aren’t altogether a good thing. Yes, Africa is very cold at night especially in desert areas.
Great upload. Namibia is a large and beautiful Country with very diverse wildlife. Not so beautiful is their Government who have recently rounded up 55 wild elephants out of their natural habitat and sold them off to International bidders in violation of the International Wildlife Treaty. It's not common knowledge, I subscribe to National Geographic and was very shocked to read about it.
Sadly all nearly all the large animals around the rest of the planet got killed off when humans showed up, the ones in Africa co-evolved with us and learned to be wary of us. We did not need to be great hunters the animals outside of Africa were probably completely tame. The exception was the mammoth, which was killed off by the end of the ice age.
Full on Attenborough at the start there. Well played.
To be mentioned in the same sentence as Sir Attenborough is an honor. Thanks.
Fantastic! 🦒🐘🦓
Absolutely brilliant video Mac.
Thanks Tony
You really made me feel that we can do self drive. 🤗

I remember that a friend who is from Namibia told me about lions who live on the coast. They’ve adapted to that landscape.

Most are worried for the future of the all animals. I know I am.
So you haven’t changed yet and started to use Celsius? I was confused when you said it was 38 degrees and cold!

Wonderful video. I really appreciated your detailed sharing of information about the location, the animals and your personal experience.
Looks like that last Bull Elephant was in Musth.

When exactly where you there? I am going next week and not taking too much clothing for the cold.
I was there in mid-August.
So what happens if a Bull Elephant or a Rhino decides to charge you vehicle?
Hold on tight... seriously though there are park rangers and staff to offer support if needed.

Good points.
No children this time round?
Not this time... 🙂
Where are your children?
With family in the UK.
