@@LifeWithQueeniithanks for the tips! Any links for the white and on top?

@@LifeWithQueenii thank you
I know theres some way to order descriptive words, like size, color then final descriptor but you did fine & i promise you very few native english speakers even know that order. Be proud that you're so clear & easy to understand in something other than your native language. Good job ✌️
Native English speaker here and your English is great. Thank you for making such helpful videos.
thank you ☺
I love bottom watering! And thanks for the sand tip! I love this ❤
In march i plan on starting my tomato seeds. This will be my first year doing tomatoes.
At last, someone staving off fungus gnats the same way I do. So many people think chemicals are the only way! Female fungus gnats simply won’t lay eggs in dry sand - simples! 👍
Omg queeni. I needed to see this. I loveee my house plants. I had to repot my huge money tree plants cuz i over watered them. Im going to go in to loosen the soil cuz i packed it tight 😂 TY
Nice!!!
Peppers are soo slow but worth the wait.
I have some Sugar Rush Peach, Red Savina Habanero, Fish Pepper, Red Bell Pepper, Yellow Scotch Bonnet, Cayenne, Orange Hab and a Macedonian Rezha...
Thanx for the tips on the pests...
Love your variety!
Great idea to keep fungus gnats away! I have perlite, I’ll try that on top! Thanks!
Great video! Thanks for so many great pepper growing tips!
They are beautiful. I loved watching. I need more grow lights because I started too many things... I want the salad, tomatoes, peppers, and flowers. I love the sand tip. Thanks
Great video, thanks for the sand tip!
Looking great! Good setup
I learned so much from this video. Great content & your English is good, we Enjoy the accent. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🪴
Outstanding! Thank you for the video!
Wow very nice plants❤👍
I got this starter set on Amazon. It came with 5 of the cells and trays you put them in, the covers, grow lights that clip on the covers, tags and tools for planting and digging. It was maybe 20$? I have had it 2 years now and it works great!
Great tips! Thank you! I like to use a drill to make hole in the cups
Excellent content! I use a soldering iron and burn holes in my containers for drainage.
One of the best seed starting videos I love the sand idea. I am keeping several plants inside, so I need to keep the fungus gnats away. I have subscribed and hope to find a video of yours talking about fertilizing seedlings .
I will be posting my feeding/fertilizer routine for the seedlings some time this week hun ! Thanks for subscribing!
@@LifeWithQueeniipurchased the flora gro from your link as well as the trays & coco coir. Starting to plant some seeds today. Looking forward to that fertilizer video as I’m a newb to planting period and your videos are a God sent!

Thank you for watching! Glad I could help in some way
Oh my goodness thank you so much for all the wonderful tips!🤗Hopefully I’ll be able to plant a little bit of what I actually want in my little space (balcony) this year. Since I can’t plant directly in the ground.
container gardening is a great way to grow! you'll be great at it
@@LifeWithQueenii Thank you!🤗
You're very creative! I just browsed through this and your other channels. Go you! 👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you ❤️🌱
If you dbl up your cups You can keep the gnats from getting in from the bottom
I use to do that but I’d have to water each cup. Please check my last upload where I mention what I use for watering
Oh, good idea. I'll try it.
Wow amazing
I tried to subscribe , but , UA-cam says I have too many subscriptions !!!! Keep making gardening videos and I'll keep watching !!!! Thank you very much !!!! I've shared this video with my family and friends !!!!
Too many subscriptions? lol since when is that a thing lol any ways thank you so much , garden content will be posted weekly.

You are so welcome
Thank you so much for the education 🐱 love it.
Any time!
Swish the plugs in water and the soil will fall off. then the roots come detangle with just a lite tug. I sow multiple seeds in cups and pots. I love your set up.
I use to do that but I don’t like wasting my soil. Thanks for watching 🌱🌹❤️
@LifeWithQueenii understood. I don't use a large container. When I'm done, I water the transplants with the water and the soil that's in the container tops off the transplants. No waste.
@@ayatti26 yeah I get that but like I said I don’t too water , I don’t any soil ontop of my indoors established plants but do what works best for your situation. ❤️
your peppers are beautiful. wow your accent is not bad at all
New Subscriber here. I have been trying everything for those fungus gnats, even tried the rocks, but never tried the sand. I will have to look into that. Thanks :)
if you already have them I suggest doing a flush first then add sand.
Hi Queen, thank you for sharing this beautiful pepper plants with us. They look gorgeous and healthy. Please what type of sand did you put around the plants. Please can you send the link. Thank you for your time
Hi! Thanks for watching it’s all purpose sand hun
Great video ! When you top off the plants have you ever considered pushing those cuttings into soil and do you think it would root and grow?
The cuttings from the top are soft cuttings so they wouldn’t be the best to propagate 😞
Your peppers are beautiful!!! What kind of lighting system do you use?
These are shop lights hun
Where did you get the lights and the set up for your plants??
🌷
What comes next. Do you transfer them to the ground after grow more and do you still use the sand when you transplant them to the ground?
No sand when they move outside, the sand is just for inside when I start them. There is a whole ecosystem outside and unfortunately fungus gnats are apart of it but I don’t have issues with them outside even though they are out there. The sand is to allow the seedlings to grow large healthy roots systems in the first part of their lives so that when they move outside some fungus gnats nibbling on their roots won’t bother them much
Lovely plants 🌱 subscribed from London- do you have any videos germinating pepper seeds pls

I added 3 links for you to check out 🌱❤️
I use my Venus fly traps❤
Great video! The pest sand where did you purchase?
It’s all purpose sand from Lowe’s
New sub. I’m going to try the sand. Those fungus gnats are a real problem over here
If you have an infestation I recommend a flush with mosquito bits , just add it in a gallon of water and let it sit over night and water your plants like normal and add a 1/4 inch or 1/2 layer of sand ontop. You will no longer water from above moving forward only bottom watering. This will keep the sand in place and the plants will get the water where they need it, the roots.
Queen do you use this same soil mixture and procedure for all your seeding?
All seedlings that are started indoors get this mix and if I can find earth worm castings I add that too to give the mix some nutrients. Please check the video on how I feed my plants. Coco coir has almost no nutrients in it for proper plant development so I do feed them weekly. Once they’re hardened off they move out into the garden
@@LifeWithQueenii Thanks so much I have learned so much from you.
Do you have a problem with fungus on your seedling cells? Does the sand knock that out too? I’m in Louisiana and it’s humid year round
yes the sand keeps them away, they can't sit on the soil to lay eggs
Queen one more thing do you use the same when you seed as well? I plan to use a green house once they go outside? Also Grow bags.
What do you mean seed? Outdoor seed sowing? If so my outdoor soil is mushroom compost/topsoil/cow manure I buy in bulk
Mixed with my own home made compost
@@LifeWithQueenii Made note these are three different products? I'm learning a lot from you. I really appreciate you. Just starting this unfortunately I don't know nothing.
@@pearlbrown177 I get my soil pre mixed and dumped by my home check the video where I’m filling beds I believe it’s included in the beginning
@@pearlbrown177 ua-cam.com/video/PorJ61mghs8/v-deo.htmlsi=IZa4b6iP56kpvnF5
I noticed you didnt use a heat mat? Should we only use the heat during germination? PS. Your English is perfect!❤
Yes heat mat is only for germination purposes, if you use it while the plants are growing the roots won’t be healthy, they will eventually “cook” from my experience and stunting the growth in the plants
How do you bottom water. From plants that are in soil. New gardener here. Thank you
Water goes into the black tray and the water gets absorbed through the bottom holes made in the cups 😊
Your link in the description for the beginning seedling pots takes you to items that are green or black. Yours are clear. Do you know where you got the clear ones?
And do you have a link for the sand? Cuz I have purchased sand from Lowe's to add to my garden and it was awful! It was heavy heavy heavy silver colored sand that was unusable.
the insert is clear the drip/pan it goes into is green or black , the sand I use it all purpose sand from Lowes or Home Depot , its white colored please check if you can through the bag if you can see if its fine or chunky they all use different sources for their sand
play sand would be the lightest and finest but it gets dusty
please take a look at the trays description the inserts are clear and the pans come in green or black.
Hello nice plants…. Where did you get your white sand from?
Sand is from lowes hun, they have play sand which I use to use and this one let me go read the name and reply back
@@LifeWithQueenii okay thanks. Just had thrown some sand away….too 😂
I’ve seen some people use vermiculite. What are your thoughts on this?
I don’t use it personally, not for me
Is that perlite you topped the starts with?
Did you watch the video?
@@LifeWithQueeniiYes, I'm asking since it wasn't clear.
@@blackcoffee2002 sand hun
what do you do to control white flies ?
Beneficial insects like wasps.... plant certain things to attract them to my garden. I will post a lil short of what they do to those nasty green worms
I don’t have lights will they still grow 😊
you can use house lamps , plants need light to grow correctly. you do not have to use what I have , I use to use table lamps tp start seeds to start my garden.
Only sand I can find is the brown play sand. Do you have a link?
The brown play sand is okay, I’ve used it.
Thank you @@LifeWithQueenii
What kind of peppers did u sow? That’s a lot of peppers.
Lots of Aji /hit varieties. I’m Guyanese/Surinamese I love my hot peppers and there are so many I haven’t tried yet
What kind of sand do you use?
All purpose sand
How long from germination till pepper plant did u then transplant from cell. Tk u
I started seeds around December 26-28 and left them in the trays for almost two months
Isn’t that perlite?
It’s sand hun
There's only so many pepper's you can eat
No there is not 😅 there are hundreds of varieties and tomatoes come in the thousands
