WOW, thats absolutely amazing, I'm just getting into sea kayaking and love your videos, they ve been a joy to watch, this encounter looks truly amazing, I hope I can get to experience something like this in the near future, all the best.
Thanks so much, that really means a lot. Glad you have been enjoying them. This encounter was a really special one and quite rare but you never know, keep your fingers crossed and hopefully you might get similar. Keep at it!
Excellent x 3. Makes one wish that we could communicate verbally with them. “Y”alreet , lads, canny paddle, that!” My water too. Lcuky you. Just had distant sighting up till now.
Hi, The North East has a very active kayaking community. There are lots of different types of activities depending upon what you want. There are commercial operators who offer single day trips or taster experiences such as Cullercoats Bike & Kayak, you can simply rent the equipment for a day with these also I believe. There are kayak guides & coaches who will offer you a bit more of a 1-1 or small group experience and then there are many kayaking clubs who can let you try many different types of craft and offer training so you know how to operate each one safely. For sea kayaking, good clubs in the area include, The Borders Club, Wansbeck Paddlesports Club, Coquet Canoe Club, Stockton & Thornaby Canoe Club. All have websites / Facebook pages.
@@doc1789 Blyth kayak club used to do this as an annual event from Newburn to Tynemouth. Pretty sure they still do it 🤔 it's certainly an interesting paddle.
