The Two Rivers Mall is located in Ruaka, within the Kiambu region, an area predominantly inhabited by Kikuyus, and it was owned by the late Chris Kirubi, who was a Kikuyu. However, this does not exclude the presence of minority ethnic groups and other Kenyans living in this area.

@@explorewithbertin filming in Nairobi is a challenge...i got the same problem at Westgate mall...my guide warned me not to record even at the city centre because of the fear of police.
Apparently you can't film inside malls in Kenya.. for security issues.

Kenyan Somalis are not known for being refugees in the Western world, and many of them have never left Kenya. The majority of Somalis you see in Kenya are Kenyan and are born and raised in Kenya.
