I noticed you played Sabian HHX Evolution cymbals with the Tama Club Jam. Any particular reason you favour them? I've got a Zildjian K Custom Special Dry 16" Crash right now. Looking for new hi-hats and a ride cymbal to complement my kit, and am highly considering the HHX series!
For the stage I want more attack so that way they will cut through all the other sounds going on. Studio can be more focused tones being that the drums are isolated. So it’s good to have different sound and tonal options for both applications.

All of them sound beautiful! I especially love the ozone’s. 👍
The GodMother of drumming has spoken!!!! Thanks Dorothea!
Hi Brian. Cymbals on both kits sound great. Why the different hats and ride in the studio vs the stage?
