I love all your projects! Those cut out ornaments to add fabric is so interesting. I think I'll have to order them. ❤ I really enjoy all your videos. 😊
I just hung my Christmas Tree quilt by Fatquarter Shop using a dowel. I didn't want two extra nails where I hung it, so I used the Plastic Command Designer Hooks.
Oh on the wooden ornaments when you put your fabric between the pieces of wood using the double sided tape put a colorful ribbon around the outside edges covering the front and back sealing it. Add fun texture with a velvet ribbon etc
Please make sure to share what you end up doing with the hexies. If you make a stocking, I'm curious as to how it will work when you go to cut the toe section. Maybe draw the stocking onto the wrong side of the back piece (assuming the hexies will only be on the front of the stocking), sew on the drawn lines and then cut it out? I sell project bags. I made a hexie bag but I machine sewed the hexies. It's pretty easy to do and so much faster than hand piecing them. I know you love handwork so I understand why you do it. Also, it's for your home not something you are selling so the extra time is for the love of the craft. Thanks for all of your videos and the podcast. Very informative and lots of fun as well.
Missouri Star had some of the wooden ornaments that are magnetic where can change the fabric out. I got a couple with my favorite being the Dresden one. I think they were 9.95 each. I really like the set that you purchased. I just downloaded the tree pattern last week but haven’t had a chance to start it yet. Yours turned out beautifully! Wishing all of our quilting family a Happy Thanksgiving. 🍁🦃
I think with those ornaments, I don’t think I would glue the fabric. You could inter change fabric for decor throughout the year in your sewing room🤔 you could even make a small 9 patch block to put behind it as well. 🤗❤️
I think you could picture frame those hexis and Superimpose a dark green Bella solid appliqués tree. Then someone can make a cross stitch pattern out of it :)
Question: Before I ask I just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying your fabric, patterns, and your UA-cam channel and podcasts! I was wondering though, if there was a place where there is a list of all your fabric collections in order of release. I have been quilting for 40 years but am new to the brighter fabrics, mostly using reproduction fabric till about 2years ago. Anyway, love to pick up your fabrics when I’m out shopping, but is Balboa before or after Seashore Drive? That’s the question? 😉
I'm "voting": White orange peel to look like a snowflake. Stocking for the hexies please! All projects are beautiful and neat idea with the wood ornaments. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Oh, and the 30" wall hangings you make for that one spot on your wall; might you be able to list some of the patterns that you have used. I have a particular wall that that same size would work for.
Love your projects. Do you bind your own quilts or does the quilter bind them? If you bind them do you sew the finishing by hand or machine? Thank you so much.
what size hexie paper are you using for those long rows? You have a lot of extra folded over even using a mini charm yet they don't look that little. The size I have a template for is slightly too large for mini charms, and I'd love to be using them.
That panel quilt is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see what you make with your hexagons.
I love all your projects, Sherri, and cute fabrics, too. It looks like Chelsea’s sew a long quilt is going to be a winner. It looks really cute.
Hi Sherry. Thanks for sharing
Sherri, I love all of your quilts/projects you showed in this video especially the sweet Christmas tree wall hanging! ❤❤😊
Oh dear, there are such cute and fun things you show in this video.
All your projects are gorgeous, you certainly have a lot done and your fabrics are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. 👍❤️😊
Your hexie flower would look great in Christmas red as a poinsettia with green pieced blocks.
That panel quilt is gorgeous. Love the wide backing. ❤❤❤

The quilting on your Christmas Tree wall hanging looks like strings of Christmas lights to me. Very appropriate:)
I always drop everything when I get the notification that your monthly WIP video is up! Love all your projects! You are so inspiring.
Like mini charm tree
Everything was so beautiful!!! Love the wood ornaments.
Love the tree wall hanging. Would love to see how you display your projects in your home for Christmas.

Thank you, Sheri - such lovely project ideas. 🙂
The extra border looks really good. I ❤ the Christmas tree. You get soooo much done. !

@sherri
what about a table runner for the hexi’s but place them diagonally as stripes. Like candy cane. ❤️💚

Sherri you said you would post the settings on your Janome machine for the quilting of the tree mug rug etc. I cannot seem to find it.

Lovely ornaments but they don't ship to Canada.
