- In 2005, Tiger Woods hit one of the best golf shots of all time. This remarkable chip shot helped Tiger win his fourth Masters and ninth major of his career. Rob looks at Tiger’s shot and analyzes the two main fundamentals of what makes a great chip shot. It is a definite “teachable moment.” To see the full video of the senior PGA champion shown at the beginning of this video, click this link... • Chipping lesson featur... .
Tiger Woods has had tremendous shots over many years. I remember the 6 iron he hit on the 18th hole at the Canadian Open in 2000. It was out of the bunker and over the water. At that event, Tiger won his 9th victory of the year. How about that tremendous snakey putt at the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass in 2001? What are your favourite Tiger moments?
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
Over the years, I have been very critical of Lanny Watkins' prediction about the best Tiger would be able to do with that lie, but Lanny was only recognizing the low probability of getting that one close. Perhaps he forgot about the Xfactor --- Tiger Woods.
Magical
It was so cool 😎
What about Gene Sarazen's double eagle in the 1935 Masters. Wasn't that the greatest shot? DB
Yes indeed. Sarazen's double eagle was great. Ok, they're both great :)
A great chip indeed, but better and more important than Larry Mize’s TO WIN THE MASTERS? Don’t think so
Oh yes, I remember that chip shot. Poor Greg Norman on that one :)
Far better, and far more important.
