  • Rosie is a young Health and Wellness expert who is eager to leave Akila city for the first time. She will not heal you like a regular doctor does, however, she will conveniently gift you the medicinal supplies she finds on your travels. She also provides some decent health boosts. Rosie can be found hanging around the Hitching Post in Akila city, and can be recruited for a negotiable fee. She is not a romanceable crew member.
Skills: Medicine: Rank 1: Med Packs, Trauma Packs, and Emergency Kits restore HP 10% faster.
Wellness: Rank 3: Max health is increased by 30%.

Yes, I have added a couple of companions to my main settlement, they do sandbox better than the Fallout 4 versions - I added the 2 from the opening of the game on MARS, both are specialists in Outpost management, but I am not sure what that means in terms of any bonuses. They both have fleshed out dialogue with a decent backstory - so adds a bit more flavor.. Have not come across Rosie yet!

Rosie's people were from New Zealand. She says "ka kite".

I haven't tried these "extra" NPCs yet. But I'm curious, do they do anything useful? Does Rosie actually do anything - make med packs, Antibiotics, etc? Do they use the research table, med station, etc?

They stand around your ship or outpost. You supposedly get bonuses from them but I haven't seen them make a difference in my game. At least it gives us modders a base to work with but it's dissapointing.

They give you boosts and gifts that are specific to their field, plus a little extra localized dialogue when you travel with them. I see them more as "settlers" to populate outposts like in Fallout, especially since I give my outposts a production theme and use their skills to fortify. They will use the stations and navmesh well with the environment, but they're secondary companions in comparison to the main ones. Like doggo mentioned, they'll be a good framework for modders to improve on, along with many of the details in the game that need more...finishing... (I'm looking at you, map system).

@@GabrielaBlancoYeah I added her to my ship hoping to at least feel like I have a ships doctor.
I feel like I just have a passenger instead. I'm glad that she at least offers supplies. Someone should mod her to heal you if you supply her with the appropriate med packs.
