Just got a 2023 Bronson in January and also got the lower spec one to upgrade as I go along. Your video gave me some ideas to bulletproof it in the future
I have a 2019 Santa Cruz Hightower LT, and I love the way it rides. I've upgraded and/or replaced everything but the brakes so far. So, is it still the same bike? Or is it just a sneaky way to get a new bike? 😄
Not necessarily! It really depends on what you’re riding. I do a lot of climbing and some punchy techy climbs, which is where I can feel the benefit of an oval chain ring. I will say it isn’t this massive black and white difference. With an oval ring it feels like you’re able to put more torque down on the climb and keep it consistent.
I have this same bike with a Rockshok something or other ultimate. it has a pedal switch. i never use it. These bikes pedal incredibly well in and out of the saddle. The stock shocks suffer from kind of shitty mid stroke support though. The Megneg upgrade to these shocks makes a hug difference for these bikes. Other than that the Rockshocks are actually really good on these bikes, and I say that as someone that normally runs only Fox.
Please ignore my dirty bike. 😅 I normally keep it clean!
We all do it

Exceptional beautiful Santa Cruz MTB! Your upgrades accent’s your taste, masterpiece!
Thank you so much!!
@@MorganBishopp your welcome! Keep up, the good vibes!
I also have a 2019 Bronson, still my main bike, still ride it the most. It’s just a great bike
Such a great bike!!
great video, nice upgrades
Thank you!
Nice. We're bike twins. lol I went out of my way to get this bike in this color. It reminds me of the celeste green of vintage Bianchi's.
The color was one of the main reasons I went with the 2019 model instead of the 2020, haha!
Awesome bike
Thank you!!
Are you running tubliss? Why the spare tube?
I am! I always carry a spare since I ride a lot of remote trails. I even carry a puncture kit as well. 😂 I’m a little over prepared.

Haha, this is true! Basically new!
Are oval chain rings better than regular ones?
