I'm 52 and been listenin' to these guys since I bought the "Mother's Milk" LP, yes we bought vinyl records then, and the RCHP never fail to amaze me with their power of longevity and the ability to make great music they still possess.

I'm 40 and have always resisted the RHCP in part I only had bad memories associated with their songs which isn't fair to RHCP. I just rediscovered their music two weeks ago and after spending 2020-2022 falling in love with Vulfpeck and other fusion and jazz artists coming back to RHCP with an open mind is very rewarding. What a great collection of individual artists as others have mentioned here. I love it.

Hi Anna. I've been listening to Return of the Dream Canteen for two days straight. Initially, I was a little disappointed, as it's not as "hooky" as Unlimited Love. But with each listen, I began appreciating the experimentation and subtle hooks of each track. Now I'm completely addicted. I CAN'T STOP listening to ROTDC. We're so lucky this AMAZING foursome is still churning out AMAZING music... and we're so lucky that 2022 saw the return of the genius, John Frusciante and 35 new tunes from RHCP. Robert

Back in '06, my friend called me up one warm August day and said "yo, you see the Chili Peppers are headlining Endfest tonight? I'm on my way to pick you up right now."
We drove 30 minutes to the venue and got in a long line. I still distinctly remember Wolfmother was playing "Woman" while we were waiting in line to get in. A few others bands played, then as the sun was setting RCHP took the stage.
Stadium Arcadium had just come out a few months prior, so they played some of that album, but a lot of older hits, too. A truly impressive performance. They are all so incredibly talented. And for the final 15-20 minutes, Anthony left the stage and the band just jammed out like madmen. That's still one of my fondest concert memories of all time. There's just something different and special about seeing main stream rock stars let loose and jam like they were kids again. Highly recommend seeing them live if given the chance. I need to call that friend and thank him for hitting me up that day! Awesome memory.

When her necklace breaks off (chaos) and she kicks it away but in synch with it (adaptation), there is a beautiful metaphor for life in her movement. This was certainly accidental but pure.
This video is brilliant.
I think this might be my favorite song from the new album, though that's a tough call because it's the rare 75-minute record where there's absolutely no filler, it's just so well-thought-out and it's clear the band and Rick Rubin cared a lot about the song choices and putting them in the proper sequence. But there's something so beautifully poetic and evocative about that line "the drummer is leaning without any meaning outside of the Club Troubadour", it's just so haunting and beautiful.

One band where I'm into every member and not just the singer. Maybe love John the most. He just has some kind of romantic vibe about him. So comforting to hear him play and sing in the background.

I feel ya! Their new music this year, and getting to see them LIVE and sounding incredible, helped give me the energy to keep going. It was such a welcome and needed surprise after how the last few years have gone. I think a lot of other people feel the same. It was amazing to see thousands of people completely filling a stadium, all smiling and enjoying a couple happy hours together getting to hear their music. ❤

Blood Sugar Sex Magik will probably always be my favorite album! When I had to have 2 brain surgeries (awake), I was allowed to bring a CD to play and without a question, B.S.S.M was the ONLY option! It just thrills me now to hear their new stuff and feel like they've stayed true to their sound and style no matter what the world has become in recent years! Lately my life and health have felt so OLD and uncertain but now hearing these new RHCP tunes and getting a nostalgic feeling of days gone by with their influences in my life during better times.. I feel *hopeful* again. 💕
