How to set up Mercedes-Benz Predictive
In this Trucking 101 video, we’ll explain how to set up Predictive Powertrain Control (PPC) in a Mercedes-Benz Actros to get the best performance and economy to suit an Australian B-Double combination.
The PPC system already knows the road ahead, and will adjust the speed and gear selection to give the best fuel savings possible for the vehicle combination.
The PPC system uses digital road maps and GPS data to generate a digital horizon which is used to optimise gear shift points, gear selection and the cruise control speed up to 2 kilometres ahead.
Depending on the options selected in your Actros, you can select upper and lower speed limits and peak momentum, some vehicle will have the option of cornering speed and coasting performance settings.
Regardless of whether you have your dash set in Advanced or Classic view the procedure to set the PPC is the same.

not possible. Always reset itself for default :(
