I would love to hear more about the sleep space transitions in the first year of your child. For example, what if any medical advice did you follow, what or which cues did your child exhibit, what bedding items did you consider during each transition (bassinet, crib, mattresses, monitoring equipment like cameras or radios), what patterns of naps and overnight sleep did you attempt to follow and which were actually what you experienced especially considering feeding patterns. I ask because I am not considering a crib at all and rather thinking to go straight to a breathable mattress (maybe start crib size then twin Newton mattress).

The floor pillows are part of a Nugget set (there are a lot of great movement mats and foam climbing blocks that would work just as great). The cylinder pillow is repurposed from the daybed I have in my son's room. Hope this helps get you started.
