Fun Fact: Patrick Swayze was offered a cameo role as a zombie before his cancer diagnosis. His scene would have parodied other Patrick Swayze movies like "Ghost" and "Dirty Dancing". Zombie cameo roles were also offered to Joe Pesci, Mark Hamill, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Matthew McConaughey. Also, Zombieland is a love letter to zombie movies. It embraces the fandom around it along with the troupes and "rules" of the genre. It's the zombie equivalent to the original "Scream".
Rest in peace Patrick Swayze. I loved him in Road House (1989) and Point Break (1991) classic action movies. He was an iconic actor with an such incredible range of acting ability.
Ash: Do you wanna get your ass eaten? Hannah: I would say yes since you haven’t done it in days. I was drinking water and almost choked on it. That was an S Tier response. I cannot tell you how much I wish I could party with you guys.
Having inappropriate thoughts. Having inappropriate thoughts. Having inappropriate thoughts. Having inappropriate thoughts. Damn, OK, heading back to Hannah's instagram for 15 minutes.
You guys were on a whole other level in this video. Good God! I legit laughed out loud so many times. Hannah was on fire with her jokes! Ash as well, but Zombie Kill off the Week was definitely when Hannah went on the ass eating tangent, and Ash straight up fell out of his seat! Absolute gold.
Bill Murray is a legend. Even when he was dying he was hilarious. From beginning to end this movie is very good, and fun. Emma Stone though was very good, such a talented actress.
"You got a purty mouth" is a line from the movie Deliverance (1974), starring Burt Reynolds. If you're looking for something good that no one else watches, try that one.
I can’t explain it, but Hannah’s eyes flicking side to side while Ash compares the zombie eating someone to chicken wings is so funny to me (10:10) 😭💀 Also Hannah’s hair in space buns is so nice 🫶
So glad you got to enjoy this, it's one of my favorites. Hannah is an absolute treasure, please treat her as such, she deserves it. 💖 Anyway, loved the review, love you guys, take care and stay safe 👍.
I don't know if anyone has covered this but this was originally pitched as a t.v. show that's where the kill of the week came into play...but no network would pick it up so they decided to make it a movie
"I've already told people, 'don't make any plans.' Even though I don't have that many friends." "He's told me." 🤣🤣🤣 Everyone here is your friend, Ash. Also, Sno Balls are disgusting.
The garland Texas joke is hilariously accurate, especially when Driving through the outskirts of huge urban cities is pretty surreal because they’re usually empty, one gas station, one motel, one diner, and nothing else it’s kinda creepy. 😂
Hannah's hair buns and Berzerk shirt are bringing out a whole new level of sass. Don't know if it can compete with the sheer power of the orange-hued Kobra Kai though.
Honestly, you should make December Hannah's month... treat her, give her whatever she wants to watch... maybe Bridget Jone's Diary, Four Wedding & A Funeral, The Commitments... y'now?
Don't know if it's coming up on your requests much, but I would really recommend Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. It's kind of a batshit crazy movie, but if it clicks with you, you're going to feel literally every emotion there is. Big hugs to you guys.

I love that we're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and both Hannah and Ash think there's (at least) one actor just chillin in the haunted house waiting for someone to take a little walk through.
I have a idea when you both were talking about the sweets the "snowballs scene" and what it taste like. Would you both be down for people to send you sweets or chips from the states or wherever people are from watching and while your doing your movie reactions you can eat the sweets that are sent in trying them for the 1st time.
They got off of the ride because it would stop after a few minutes and then your surrounded by the time you need to start the ride again. They got on another ride as an absolute last resort.

I'd vote Cabin in the Woods. Still a partial comedy, but spookier than Z-Land.
Cabin in the Woods is also just the perfect "First Time Reaction" movie
That would be good!

Agreed it's really one of those movies that deserves more credit for it's conical value while still maintaining horror vibes
