I may seem like a weirdo, but I love the sense of adventure in a hoarder's house.
This is grandma from Texas. Maybe they had chickens. Chickens take dust baths. Idk just trying to figure that puzzle out. I have panick attacks when I see hoarders omg how do you do it. I hope you have something very valuable in your haul. You earned it.

My MIL was a hoarder. She hoarded three houses. The last one her daughter bought and it’s still hoarded even though my MIL has been gone for 13 years! She collected a lot of nice things but it’s not up to me to clean it out. It’s a wonderful house but is becoming very worn down with nobody living in it or taking care of it. Very sad.
This was crazy! Gives me some inspiration to get some stuff cleaned out!😂
Ask the young man who has the vintage toy booth at your mall, he will know about pokerman cards etc

I think they painted much stuff in the basement that blue color to ward off haints. (Ghosts) I don’t think that was actually house dust that he collected. I think it was grain dust maybe.

My parents were too, as were many from the depression. I found a broken microwave in the attic 🤦♀️ Lots of cool stuff too, sadly much was ruined by rodents.

I follow YT-ers that buy storage units and one big channel I love is Locker Nuts. Jack loves finding the vintage toys and collectibles like you snagged here. And boy did you get some great stuff!! The Pokémon alone is MONEY. lol You'll need to make sure you don't have any items that are worth BIG MONEY as some of these things can be worth THOUSANDS! lol Can't wait to find out the gems in your treasures!!

Ive seen way way worse on hoarders show !! I somehow dont feel as bad at the mess i am still working on !! What ive learned after working on clutter for 10 yrs is No More Stuff !!! Theres a point when you have enough stuff !!! And you need to start downsizing.
The next generation is stepping up to educate us on what is collectable. At the beginning of the video i didn't think I her was much for Berner Brothers to take with them, except of course for the dust collection. Thanks for the rid along.💖

Always exciting with you guys! You didn’t seem too interested in the fishing lures and such but there is value there for sure! I hope you bought them. In the future, please wear proper gloves and masks. I know they’re uncomfortable but it’s not worth the risk when rodents are present.

The best one ever was the house Jocelyn (Crazy Lamp Lady) featured on her channel for a series of cleanout episodes awhile back. It was FILLED to the brim with amazing midcentury finds--just all kinds of high end treasures. That horder really had taste & style. I think she was some kind of art dealer or connoisseur. I'm not a jewelry person, but there was also so much designer jewelry.

I would have stopped at the marble top in the living room and the etagere in the basement. since I specialize in Victorian furniture. Etagere is 1875-80, couldn't see enough of the MT top unit to tell era of that

Wow. That stuff doesn't look old enough to be that dusty! The boys will probably have fun researching all of the games and character collectables. Definitely not your forte, or mine either. Jacob, you and the other guys are braver than me. I would have been afraid of running into some mice and spiders. I can’t believe how much dust was in this house. Even though I wasn’t there by the end of the video I swear I was covered in a layer of dust. Keep the videos coming! I enjoy my daily Berner video and wish they were longer.

Great episode…. Hope you went back and grabbed all the rest of the stuff. I was yelling at the TV “grab that, that’s worth $$$”. 😂 even though I love my antiques I learned to appreciate other not so old collectibles that bring back nostalgia for people and can have some value.

I would be so overwhelmed going into a place like that. I wouldn’t know where to start. I am afraid I would be much help because I tend to shut down when ai get overwhelmed. My ADHD paralyzes me sometimes. I really do hope this house is worth your while. It looks like a lot of work. Good luck! 😊
