Good review, but it's missing out a key feature of the new keyboard. It supports the Bolt dongle. I have the old version of the k380 and barely using it because it does not support dongles. Therefore this feature (or the lack of it) could be a dealbreaker for some people like me.
Nice catch! Sorry i missed that part out, and yes that is an important aspect for reliable connection. Thanks for pointing that out! Have pinned your comment to notify other viewers about this 👍🏻
This is one of the most honest and direct videos than most of them out there. He gets to the point, no time wasting and most importantly, shows what the keyboard sounds like right away unlike others who will continue to tease until the very end
Excellent video. I've had the K380 for almost 3 years and I'm just changing the batteries for the first time. I use this keyboard for both Windows and Mac. I constantly switch between each PC and there is never a lag. My typing experience (the feel of the keyboard and virtually no sound coming from the keyboard) is the best I've ever experienced and I've been using PC's since the early 1980's.
Isn't the Bluetooth standard updated (5.1 for the K380S vs 3.0, I think)? I was thinking the new version might connect more quickly and take less energy.
Absolutely! I havent noticed any significant difference in pairing speed between my K380S and K380, so it’s somewhat negligible. But you you are right, the K380S uses BLE, which likely explains the 50% increase in battery life!

Thank you for your review, long-term reviews are the most relevant to me. Cause I always look for things that will last me for a lifetime...thx
My pleasure!
You had me at the sound of the Pebble Keys 2. Thank you very much for this.
Welcome! Glad my review was helpful 😊
Remember his K380 is 3 years old, the sound was maybe more similar when it was new.
Thanks for the informative reviews!
Consider turning off the background music when demonstrating the typing sounds as it might be distracting.
Thanks for the feedback, i’ll take that into consideration in the future! 👍
