I don't want to be amazingly critical, but the sound is only representing the exhaust from one cylinder. It should, as Peter Smith writes in Footplate over the Mendips on driving Black a Five, have 4 beats to a bar, or revolution. Each cylinder delivers two beats per revolution, your driving rig shows very clearly only two beats.. Can the chip be reprogrammed to do this?

sadly that what you get with a "cheap" hornby TTS chip, and you can't reprogram them . I may upgrade the chip later
