Organic farming means crop production without use of pesticides and other chemicals. Excessive use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers no doubt increase crop production. But their ill effects have been reported. New diseases are emerging due to pesticides and chemicals. Advanced countries are hurriedly shifting from inorganic farming to Organic farming. It should be noted that there is a permissible limit of pesticides as well as other chemicals in organic farming too.
