Iconic and Historic Places in this Walk Includes:
Royal Court of Justice, Strand and In the early 20th century the Strand was pre-eminently an entertainment zone: it had more theatres than any other street in London, several notable restaurants (such as Romano's and the Tivoli) and large numbers of music halls and pubs. It was the place where Londoners of all classes went for a good night out.
St Paul's Cathedral;
London's most iconic architectural masterpiece, St Paul's Cathedral is known for its world-famous dome that to this day dominates the skylines of the city. Aside from being ahead of its time in its architectural prowess, this Anglican church is also the seat of the Bishop of London.
St Paul's Cathedral is worth seeing and Not only is it a spectacular Church but the architecture is second to none.
City of London;
In just 1.12 square miles, the City of London counts around 8,000 residents, 513,000 daily commuters and 10million annual visitors. The City of London boundaries stretch from Temple to the Tower of London, on the River Thames including, from west to east Chancery Lane and Liverpool Street.
Tower of London;
The Tower of London is one of the top sights to see in the city right in front of the majestic Tower Bridge. This historic castle with over 1,000 years of history is home to the Crown Jewels, the iconic 'Beefeater' Yeoman Warders, and the legendary ravens that have kept the kingdom from collapsing.
Tower Bridge London
Tower Bridge is probably the most iconic bridge in London, famous worldwide for its striking design and neo-Gothic architecture. It's not the oldest bridge in the Capital, but it is a modern-day symbol of it.
Tower Bridge is a Grade I listed combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, built between 1886 and 1894, designed by Horace Jones and engineered by John Wolfe Barry with the help of Henry Marc Brunel.
