Kim-What you are saying are selected true. Every country have their own problems. Xi actually take lesson from US. It is true the major population is earning $200 per month it actually a tremendously increased income in comparing earning of 36 Renminbi per month. American only helped the National Army (Taiwan) after Pearl Harbor attacked. American actually helping them self by aiding China. Regarding Oil issue, China is building a pipeline Siberia.

Steve Rhodes It depend on the demographic number. The population has to be control in certain range. India is another example, lots of young poor people don't have "right " to have a normal standard of living, this my understanding of human rights.

It’s a wrong translation by Taiwanese. The western world misunderstood the policy. In Chinese it called “ population plan policy “ or “birth control policy “, that’s means not every family born one child. I don’t know why the Taiwanese translated the wrong words into the western world and mislead the world

Great video. You're literally a unicorn in the world of people living comfortably in their western media bubble. :)
The western media need to stop taking the "rust belt" equivalent of China as a reference point when comparing the East and West. Sure China still have many rural areas that are lagging behind in terms of development, but so does the US. I've lived in many different part of the world including China and I gotta say when their news report things about US they're usually fair and without much opinion injected. They're not afraid to report new discovery made by NASA or MIT research, etc. People celebrate them as achievement of mankind. The western media however reports far more negative news from countries they deemed not as developed as the western world, and a lot of these news come from the fringe of society, or events of very rare occurrence which they use to portrait a overall backward image of the eastern world. I've never seen CNN, MSNBC, Fox and the likes talk about China or Chinese people in a positive light. Just to name a few, China's success in her fight against desertification for over a decade, and their achievement in lifting millions of people out of poverty by providing free housing and job training in the most poverty-stricken area. Neither of these would be considered possible in the current western political climate and should be celebrated equally. They always try to paint China as a menacing force that we have to defeat to protect our supremacy.
The world is not a zero sum game. Instead of pouring so much money into inventing new ways to kill each other more efficiently, we should open our eyes and work together to tackle some of the most challenging problems we're facing in this century. Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell has an excellent video on this subject.

In fact, most people do not know China is currently leading in a lot of areas in science and technology, to name a few, The Beidou system ( China's [GPS] ) Recent differential test has successfully improved the precision from 10 meters to 1 meter, with the ground enhancement system, accuracy has reached centimeters level, and has a text message function. This level is the currently the highest in the world.[ Radar technology]- China currently has the world's highest resolution of 3D imaging and geographical remote sensing and military reconnaissance.[3D printing] , [Deep UV all solid-state lasers technology], [ Microcrystalline steel (super steel)], [ pulse strong magnetic field experimental device], [ Nanotechnology] - Tsinghua University, Professor Wei Fei team successfully prepared a more than half a meter of carbon nanotubes, creating a new world record, which is currently the highest value of all one-dimensional nano-material length. [ Ultra-light air gel] - Zhejiang University Department of Polymer created a 0.16 mg / cubic centimeter of ultra-light aerogels, the world record of lightest solid material. [ Quantum memory ] - The world's first storage of single photon quantum memory was born in China. The world's first [ artificial cornea ] has been successfully completed in clinical trials, artificial cornea transplantation after the total effective rate of more than 90%, the effect is close to the human cornea. [Quantum communication] - China has launched the world's first quantum satellite and successfully received data on earth.[ Microelectronics ]. -(SFGT) Professor Zhang Wei, Microelectronics Institute, Fudan University, developed the world's first semi-floating gate transistor (SFGT) . China is also the first country to complete the human single egg cell [high-precision genome sequencing ], [cloud computing]. - The world's first "cloud computer" "Ziyun 1000" came out in China, which marks China's core technology in the field of cloud computing . China has created the first [ single-atom iridium catalyst ] which can be used for satellite propellant. It can reduce the amount of metal, improve the catalytic efficiency.....etc.

The Chicoms have been stealing and copying our tech for decades and something has to be done before they actually catch up. This is just more proof that they are a lethal threat to the world. We have to spread more details and more secrets of China's science and technology ascendance to warn and finally convince the traitors that China has be smashed and fucked up before it's too late.

Thanks for providing this information. I was unaware of most of this. But you did a great job with this presentation and you have the stats and evidence to back it up. I knew China is going to become a huge competitor in the global economy back in like 08'. I watched a somewhat similar video, just the only difference is the video I watched was about US military and Chinese military, and how the US spending so much money on military so they think they will be unstoppable. But China which invests half of what the US spends on the military, but China knows what to do. How they're not just churning out tanks and planes and aircraft carriers. China uses a different strategy than the US. China is basically counter-punchers. Everything China invests in its military is to counter the vulnerabilities of the US military which is it's satellites, and aircraft carrier groups. So China has shown us it can destroy satellites, which the US military depends on BIG time, and their aircraft carriers, so they build specialized stealth submarines to take out the carriers. And the list goes on and on. I forgot the name of the video though, just type in something China vs US military or something and you'll find it. But I know that China does not want war. China historically has been mainly peaceful to the west, I mean in 1433 AD they sent out the largest fleet ever at that time, and it only took D-Day to beat the record. They could of conquered Africa and southeast asia and other countries at the time, but they didn't. They just wanted to open diplomatic ties and trade and to be honest kinda showboat that they have the largest navy in the world so don't fuck with us. Unlike Europe just 400 years later began colonizing every and anything that they could.
Shit, my post is getting to long. Basically, China does not want war, they use other means, like economic influence and other indirect means to dominate. Shit, most of everything has been made or should i say invented in China with it's 4000 year history. They know what they're doing, and by way of Sun-Zi(I love how you quoted him at the end) and other great philosophers such as Lao-Zi and Kong-Zi (Confucius) just to name a few. In my opinion, they are looking to the hundreds of philosophers wisdom in China's history and applying it in a modern way. Just, like how The Art of War can be adapted to business, sports, and of course war, Sun-Zi is a master strategist. And Lao-Zi with the Dao Te Ching understood that man himself is an animal and must live in harmony with nature and not try to conquer nature like the west has been doing. It's sort of like Darwinism, in a wierd way because the Dao Te Ching was written thousands of years ago and he understood that we are animals we are just the smartest primate when it comes down to it, while the west for thousands of years, until Darwin, thought of Man as something separate from nature and above animals. Mainly due to the Abrahamic religions such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam having such a great impact for thousands of years. I love a story Christopher Hitchens (RIP) told in a debate once. When the first Jesuit missionaries reached China and told the Emperor about Christianity, the Emperor replied, "If what you are saying is true, than why did it take so long to reach China." haha I miss that man. Ok my post has now become a freaking essay. Sorry. I should just stop here.
But keep up with these stories about China, you are doing a great job with your channel with informing the people since the the shit stream media (Fox News, CNN, MSNBC) won't cover it and you are, you are doing a great service to our country so keep it up and I think I should start learning Mandarin at least since China is clearly heading to become the next superpower, if they keep doing what they are doing and play their cards right. Oh and you now have a new subscriber by the way! :)
(Side note: Yes I us the "Zi" after the philospher's names because that's actually the proper way to spell their names in english. "Zi" is an honorary title. But the west at first didn't understand so they just spelled it phonetically and used "Tsu", although, I could care less if you use the "Zi" or the "Tsu", just kinda wanted to educate people that didn't know. So feel free to use whichever you choose! :))

I like your exitement about rising china but you need to rest to take a breath as the best american strategists(politics, military.economists) know very well without doubt that the next superpower is china. The biggest dream of us government right now is to see China broken into small pieces through internal democracy related conflits like the end of the soviet union .Unfortunately chinese culture is so different from westerners .As time goes china is still intact as one country it is becoming frustrating for the us government to see who is slowly taking over their position .

In fact, let us review the history of the world and have a very clear answer. China is a country with a history of civilization of 4000-5000 years. If a country can exist for such a long time, then it must know how to rule the land. Since the World War II and the industrial revolution, the West has begun to become the center of the world, but it has only been two hundred years. Because the short sight of political gaze cannot rule the country for a long time, look at the Mongolian Empire. Historically, Many outside nations have invaded Chinese territory, but they will not rule for more than one hundred years. Because they only use force and no wisdom. Maybe technological force can be a leader in the world for a while, but it won't last long. The reason behind this is the political system!

Two things I need to correct you:
    1. China's population is 1.38 billion as of 2017. Even taking into account of statistical error, it is still nowhere near 2 billion.
    2. China's population is still growing and has always had a positive growth. The actual name of "one child policy" is "population planning". The GOAL of the policy is to ensure that population level fits social development (infrastructures such as education, medicine, job, etc). The limiting child birth part is a METHOD for achieving the goal for a certain time period.
This is a very important distinction because the population planning policy is not only capable of reduce child birthrate, but it is also capable of increasing it (through economical incentives, social benefits, etc) if the nation's development calls for it.

I applaud you on bringing this to light. But first I wish to say that I have full confidence that America will come back and when it does it will be even stronger. One only needs to examine the cause as to why our country is in this present condition.
I would like for you to report on the root cause of the problem. China is a small problem once we fix the root cause. America has a resiliency to recover from economic challenges. History will show Americas resiliency to the “Great Depression”, “Dot Com”, “Junk Bonds” and a few others and now the “Great Recession”. What caused these monumental moments in American history? The answer is always the same “Wall Street”. Wall Street in their pursuit of big profits has influenced corporate America to reduce overhead and cost. Like stagnating wages, elimination pension plans and making Americans pay for a large share of their health care and let’s not forget what you point out in your videos. Move operations and jobs to China to save on labor cost.
I remember when just about everyone had a pension. The real future story is what will happen in the USA when the current working generation Americans come to retirement age and have no pensions? You try to survive on the measly amount you receive from Social Security and let’s not forget Social Security is taxable. Even if you have paid your house of in full what about property taxes? I could go on and on.
One of the lessons that corporate America is learning today is that without a middle class there are very few consumers and as you know 70% of our GDP are consumers.
Wall Street through campaign contributions has influenced our politicians to look the other way as corporate America has destroyed income equality in this country. Now for the big question, how was the middle class created? Answer: Unions. Wall Street knew the only way to accomplish their quest for higher profits was to eliminate the Unions. With our politicians being brought they were able to create the mess we are in today. Let’s not forget China has influenced our politicians with deferred campaign contributions.
Don’t give up on America just yet. We got through so many “wall Street “disasters and our country always prevails.

As a Chinese American, I'm very happy to see China getting power, but at same time, I'm also very pissed off at the mismanagement of US government during the past 20 years. The world needs a strong China and a strong US that work together and balance each other out.
But China's success is mostly because of its own action, and during the same time US's failure is also because of its own action. I'm afraid US only have 10-20 years to get its act together before it lost its dominate position, once it does it will be gone forever, I feel despair about this as an American myself.

I think meritocracy is more effective than democracy, US have a election of president every 4years, but they don't have any plan in a long term. China have to reform the politic sistema into a more rule of law and less corruption meritocratic government . Meritocracy is the future of humanity .

What is the ethnic group of people currently populate the technical and scientific education establishments? The lack of girl babies is being addressed so in a generation will be fixed - non European women are mainly safety focussed and don’t want to fight or be men like western women do. A massive amount of the Chinese are being brought out of poverty each month!

I just want to update some facts to you. First, China is investing heavily on new generation of Nuclear reactor. Currently, four ap1000 reactors are being built. Two HPR1000 are under construction. China and US will become the only nations operating 3rd generation reactors (US counterpart is VC summer and Vogtle 3&4) Second, China is building oil reserve for 90 days. CHina also begin to import natrual gas from US gas company in Alaska in 2017.

hey i did some research on this topic too. The Chinese do invest a lot in Robotic and the biggest robotic market but they are on the low end of Robotic Industry. Germany and Japan are a lot advance in this industry than anyone else. U.S are in the middle but we dominate the software side of the Robotic industry.

You are right, as a remark here: At the beginning, when China enters the market of Consumer Electronics which was once dominated by Japan and Korea, many people shared the same view as you do now though just little bit different in the field of technology, that in only 10 years, China took them all. The strategy and reason is obvious: 1) the 1.6million science and technology related graduates each year need their way out, not just copying. 2) Accumulation of quantity would definitely lead to quality changes. You may now search google for "top 10 patent countries".

About robots will hurt the US more than China, I don't agree. More of China's labor force is in manufacturing as oppose to the US in services. Though services are not immune to automation, manufacturing will be hit harder for sure. However, a major distinction between the US and Chins is that its politicians, not being constrained by the election cycle, tend to think and plan far ahead. If China does not take the pain of automation, as labor costs pike, eventually manufacturing will hollow out and move to cheaper locations like Vietnam and India, just like what has happened to the US.

@Matthew Jackson; It is easy to criticise others until you're tasked to articulate a presentation that is informative and simple to understand. You should post a video on the same subject if you feel that you can do a better job, to prove your point.

    • @singhmaster4
      @singhmaster4 4 роки тому

Why do you think all videos need to sound like a news channel? I'd rather hear a real person not a fake personality doing a presentation.
What i really hate is people who complain about getting free knowledge that would take you years and years. Not to mention it takes time to edit and record video even if it's with images. I appreciate all 3 parts of the video. Great work. Try making one yourself with your research and then talk.
