I am just now finding this video and let me tell you I cannot be grateful enough. Growing up my grandma always made this for Good Friday and now she is sick and has Alzheimer’s so I couldn’t remember what kind of fish 🐠 was used for this ,but thanks to you I can remake my grandma’s recipe ‼️‼️‼️ ♥️♥️♥️

My grandma & my mom used BUTTERFISH... but it can't be found anymore. I guess any fresh white meat fish would work, right?

My grandma made this with Bonita. Everyone threw it away bc “it’s a bloody fish”. Not Tata. She cooked it and it was to die for.

Ms.Adia...I remember my mother making this fish for Easter and she was from Ponce P.R.but she use to put it in a glass jar. Do u do it like that too or u just short cut it for the video?

Mi mamá siempre tenía una botella grande de cristal de boca ancha y lo depositaba todo y bañaba la sierra en él y lo dejaba por 5 días y luego estaba a fuegoski. Mmmmm

I'm terrified of fish bones too, that's why I use boneless fresh cod fillets in place of all recipes that require bone in fish, serenata de bacalao.

Could you apply this recipe to any fish? For example maybe swordfish?

I wish you could please list the recipes ingredients. It's hard to watch and try to remember what you need to buy. Also measurements please. I love you cooking but it's difficult to follow. My phone screen is dirty with me rewinding to see how much cumin you put or oregano.

I used to do it, but they would copy my recipes, take screenshots and publish them as their own

@@sweetsandbeyond I'm sorry that happened. Your recipes are spot on. I've tried other recipes and it was obvious that they didn't try it. For instant 1/2 cup of oil for maybe 3 cups of rice. Something like that.
