EU Run & Walk 2024 (Europe Month)

As part of the Festival of European Cultures organised during Europe Month, the EU Delegation to Zambia & COMESA brought back the much anticipated EU Run & Walk 2024!
🌍🎉 With 1000 participants, the event saw a fantastic mix of casual walkers and dedicated runners, all united in a celebration of fitness and community spirit.
EU Ambassador Karolina Stasiak alongside other European ambassadors and Zambian Ministers (Youth, Sport, and Arts & Agriculture), led by example on the 5km and 10km routes.
The routes passed by EU Member States Embassies, including France, host of the next Olympic Games, with Olympic hopeful Patrick Chinyemba, the Zambian boxer, joining the run.
From professional athletes and state officials to families and the running community, it was amazing to see everyone united under the EU motto: United in Diversity.

This is lovely! Walking & running is good for good health & with many of our general public people now getting obese, we need more of these kind of events & also build walkways or foot paths in residential areas
