Got lightning, good audio, good b-roll, lovely persona and good content. Why don’t you have more subs 🤔 keep going 💪🤗

Totally! A lot of influencers get stuff for free and everything becomes "essential" 😂 Love vloggers complaining about GoPro overheating when they're using them as an indoor camera. The mouth mount is essential for all my kitesurfing stuff - pro tip - mount the GP upside down, so you can see where you're going ;-) Chest mount works great for MTB. Running with this has to be a nightmare. Good lens are always a good buy - even though my 16-35mm f2.8 is decade old it's my most used glass for filming, with 70-200 for longer shots and 150-600 Sigma for action sports. It's all about getting the most essential stuff, all else are nice to haves :) Good luck with the business!

I was influenced to buy a ton of accessories for my gopro and some were a pretty penny. I was also influenced to buy multiple gopros because everyone whos a pro says you need to get lots of angles and they all have more than one. I can only use one at a time and thats ok. I get trapped in the "new camera features" and i rarely use the features outside of super slow-mo and wide. One thing I do regret is getting the media mod. The audio on the camera itself sounds better than the mod and its a hassle and a half to change the battery if and when it dies, or switch the doors if i go from a dry sport to a wet sport.

Wow, multiple gopros- that's something. I struggle with one, can't imagine how you came right with more than one. I get the multiple-angle thing though... I never got the media mod. Thanks for your take on that. :)

We are on a similar path hahaha I’m also struggling to understand what I ACTUALLY need to buy. It’s tough! Good luck on your journey!

What have you found to be the most beneficial so far? Like, what would make up your filming essentials?

@@MargueriteFaureVideography I’ve been recording all my content with my iPhone and with the new updates, the quality is pretty good. But I keep dreaming about updating my camera to a true “youtuber” camera, but every time I list the pros and cons, the camera loses hahaha I guess I just want go to the “next level”. Instead of buying the DLSR, I settled to buy the Insta360 Flow but soon realized I’m not going to use that as much as I was thinking just because of the nature of my content. I also have some GoPro accessories that I regret buying, such as the 3-way pole. The concept is great, but the using it in real life is a pain in the ass.

@@biagalletti I just checked out one of your vids. I don't understand it because of the language barrier but I had a look at the quality and your quality is GREAT! Your sound is also spectacular. Very very cool. How long have you been on YT? Do you have specific content goals for this year?

@@MargueriteFaureVideography Thank you! I did invest in a good microphone and don't regret that haha I've been on UA-cam for about 3 years now and my biggest goal in 2024 is to keep it consistent and within a smaller niche. I started YT talking about everything related to fitness, but now I'm niching down to Hybrid Training for females. Talking a little bit about everything was getting me nowhere.

I got myself a go-pro and a reasonably priced drone and I've pretty much not used either very often. I also a ton of kit from when I worked as a freelance Video Camera operator and all that kit is gathering dust.
Lenses are never a bad buy. I have several as they all have various roles depending on the photography/video I need to do.

I bought the Mavic Mini when i came out while living in Japan where I could fly just about anywhere. Now that I am in the states, there are so many restricted fly zones that i have only flown it once in 3 years of being here. It wasn't a waste at first, but now its a fancy shelf ornament that I wish i could fly more.

@@TevynPayne I know the pain of restricted zones. I should have included my drone headaches in this video too lol

@MargueriteFaureVideography I see all the awesome footage and opportunities but then I'm like, crap it's in a restricted or no fly zone. National parks are off limits and their some of the best views
