It's a great platform I use mine for speed running its current top speed is 97mph and other people have had there's well above 100mph there are lots of upgrades out there for it just depends on what you want to do with it
Just tape the GPS to the body on the back, better weight management

one more question, can you tell which car is better wltoys 124017 or a959-b. i am new in hobby and don't want much tension. which car is easy to maintain?
There both easy to maintain the 124017 is going to be more efficient and the motor should last longer than the a959b motor

Yeah It had the best results I would stick with a 3500kv or lower motor and this is the v1 car
So i cannot use the motor mount from the v2 124017 for 3650 motor???
I'm not sure I don't have the version v2 and I bought an adjustable motor mount for this one so I could run run different size pinion gears

@@ThompsonRc No I don't think it will work on the v2 with the v2's 19 tooth motor gear, I think you would need the v1's motor mount or the one you bought and the v1's 27 tooth motor gear or the one that comes with the center shaft with the metal gear
It comes with full alu kits.
You can use the steel spur, but not the 27T pinion. V2 can use 27T pinion with a 3650 motor, if you have the 124019 motor mount, or an adjustable one.
Mines been collecting dust been raining loads here I fancy something waterproof basher wise any ideas ? I’m a noob getting back into the hobby been looking at MT10’s. Any advice would be much appreciated guys✌️
From what I have seen the mt10's are great or any of the armma 3s line are good basher the senton seems to hold up good but likes to blow the tires out

Which motor mount did you use for the 3650?
I've got the V2 with a 2845 motor and 19t pinion.
I got the adjustable 124019 mount let me see if I can find a link for it

That mount is set up for a 27t pinion so it will not work as he has 19t pinion with that mount the motor gear will not mesh right
@@darkki94 yes I know but he wants a 3650 with a 19t pinion so he is going to need the adjustable one like I said

How hot does this motor get? I'm burning up 2445s on 3s.
I'm not sure exactly how hot it was getting I could keep my finger on it with out it burning me but that motor is no longer in the car I did cut a small hole in body where it looks like a vent would have been to let some air in
Can i get a 3650 with a higher kv if im runnin 4s
If you do I would keep an eye on it usually you would go with a lower kv when running 4 or 6s if your just speedrunning keep a eye on it and don't let it get to hot

You need bigger wheels/pinion, that motor is slow and strong...

On 3s esc hot?
It caught on fire with a 3650 4300kv. It didn't get hot running the 3650 3500kv and the stock motor
@@ThompsonRc will you be able to run in grass, dirt etc without it getting too hot with the 3650 motor?
I have know idea I truned it in to a speed car and the stock esc burned up and I replaced it with something better

@@martez752 the stock esc did fine I just put to high of a kv motor in it my fault and I'm not revealing what I've done until the video this spring when the weather is better and it still needs a few final touches
