    • @MrElephantBeach

I think the reason Dylan got paid off here is because he seems to be gunning for Garrett. The slow roll on top of it will just be in Garrett's mind in the future. It's not like he already isn't trying to play his best, so making him emotional might actually be a good strategy.

On a completely unrelated topic, I got blasted by a player for "slow rolling". Defended my SB with 55s. Flopped KQ5. Check, BB bet out huge, pre-flop raiser at CO called. I flatted. Turned another 5. Checked, BB bet out massive again, CO folded.
Maybe I should've checked how much I had behind as I went along. But, I wasn't sure exactly how much I had behind. I counted my chips while I figured out whether flatting and let him hang himself or going all-in would be a better option. Our stack differences weren't very clear at a glance.
I ended up having just $100 less than the BB, so I just said, "You got me covered. I'm all-in".
River was inconsequential, I showed my hand, he folded whatever he had.
His immediate question, after seeing my quads was, "Is this your first time playing?". I looked back at him with "What kind of a dumb f*** question is that?". Then, he proceeded to lecture me with "That was a slow roll". I was like, "No MOFO (without the MOFO part). I wasn't slow rolling". At the time, I was so taken aback, I couldn't think of explaining him the reason as to why I was tanking on the turn...neither did I feel that I needed to.
Then, he started to enlist everyone at the table, including the dealer how I slow rolled him.
A few, who understood what I was doing on the turn, tried to calm the dude down and explained on my behalf on why I wasn't slow rolling.
Certainly, a very interesting experience it was.

EPIC!!! Greatest slowroll ever. Dylan had already got inside Garrett's head. And now it will get even worse.
Last week Garrett made a bad unborn child "joke" after losing a big hand KQ < J3. If he were not tilting, he would not have made that "joke".
And this week what a river punt! No Qx is checking twice and then calling when a K comes on the river. KJ+ is never folding. What does 20K river bet into 4 players into a 35K pot accomplish?
And does Dylan ever bluff raise river after checking the button twice when he had ample opportunity to bluff? So why is GMAN bluff-catching?
Because Garrett has a strong desire to be liked and loved by everyone. That's how he stays sane playing a predatory game. Dylan, unlike other players, either really dislikes Garrett, or as a tilt-inducing game plan, pretends to. In either case, it's working.
