- Jack Garratt has been one of our favourite new artists for quite a long time. The british singer-songwriter released his debut album in february of 2016 - we met him at Haldern Pop Festival where he performed in the backyard of the Haldern Pop Label for very few people before playing the mainstage in the evening. This very special, intimate and rare performance shows just him and his electric blues guitar, performing three songs that we are proud to present.

Cardinal Sessions was founded in the summer of 2010. They challenge the classic music video and try to replace impersonal footage with immediate and emotional snapshots.
Bands from all over the world with their different genres present their songs reduced to the essence of the musical spectrum - only vocals and unplugged instruments. Due to the spontaneous live-aspect and the approach to record every song without any additional rehearsal, songs emerge that often sound significantly different to their album versions.
We film on locations that the musicians mostly choose by themselves: remote places, frequented streets, parks, woods, fields, bars; nothing is impossible. We have accomplished our goal if the location fits well to the background of the music we and the artists want to present. But our most important purpose is that there are no borders: we film everything that we like, no matter how popular, famous or also unknown a band might be. It is still important for us to support local talents and it will always stay part of our concept.
The Cardinal Sessions team can also be booked: for example to film short documentaries of album recordings, studio recordings or live concert moments that you want to capture.

I was there too. great show. it was the first show I went to with my lady. I'm an older guy, and Jack Garrat has made me more excited about new music than I have been in over 20 years. (not counting the Avett Brothers)

Jack Garratt deserves to be topping the charts, and i faith he will. He is an artist that his songs are musically amazing and catching, but his lyrics are so touching and memorable aswell. He also has the balance between electronic production and acoustic performace underrap.
How this man is not a global sensation is beyond me

I cry everytime. The amount of emotion put into his music just amazes me and I have felt that feeling that you can see he has when he gets emotional, it's so amazing you cant even explain it. If I ever talked to him in person I would just admire him so much, I have never came across another person such as myself so invested in the music than him. Inspirational to a young adult such as I.
I swear I've watched this video so many times how does it only have 81k views. This man is an absolute genius and the pure definition of talent. uuuuuuugh he deserves so much for recognition for is work!!!
