Yes they don’t have any “active speakers” but I’ve seen that if you cover those grills the sound quality actually changes and muffles a little bit, so it’s almost for like the music to leak upward towards you or in case the speaker get covered when you put it on your bed
3 laptop purchases in last 4 days. Returned 2. Restocking fee on 1. 1. HP Envy 360. Had all the features I wanted. Stunned over wifi disconnect issue. Returned but found out later my home cable modem-router has to be swapped out for new. Now I wish I had kept it. Too late after the next purchases. Sill to change my cable modem, so I can set up the DELL. Laptop 3. 2. Lenovo Ideapad. First saw that SC cards stick 2/3 way out. Returned for this reason and paid restocking. Unacceptable for this reason. 3. DELL XPS 9530. I don't like that SD slot takes in card 2/3 of the way. Many other brands which still have SD, only take in card 1/3 of the way. I can live with this in as is, in the DELL. When was this all changed? NOW I remember the HP still had old clock in click out ' most of the way, type. No touchscreen. The only one of these 3 which did not have touchscreen Does not fold over. The HP did.
A bit of shopping craziness, during a stressful time, which does not happen often. I am happy with what I have now and can bear the cost. I know more about the gear after the fact, sales in store were are B&H photovideo and Best Buy. Retail is poor. I took as much time as I could wangle on the store floors to ask the feature questions but got little info. and had to see things after I bought! Thank you so much for your kind words! Regarding changing Laptop components, this is something that you would have to read warranty manuals on as typically replacing parts will void your standard warranty unless completed by an authorised retailer or repairer.
anyone else pissed off by the speakers? the top ones by the keyboard just dont work, and the sound only comes from the ones on the bottom of the laptop, which in most cases sounds muffled unless you got yo laptop floating in the air...

I didn't get a pen with my computer. Should I have? I am a computer dummy. If I could have found a battery I would have kept my HP I have had since 2008. All I want is an explanation of this keyboard. The instructions on this computer are non existing. Ugh. The only thing I like so far is the touch screen.

It doesn’t come with pen. They’re showing it has touch and pen support so you can use pen but you have to buy separately

just got the 1TB/32GB version. Only thing that could be better is the speakers, my old computer had better ones. Maybe i am missing something.
