Epic work! Loved the shots and color man! 😍 just a small tip regarding the vocals, it was drowing a bit behind the sfx and music. Just a tad more presence and it's spot on.
I actually turned the rest of the mix up. On phones it stands out more but on speakers it gets drowned in the lower end. im assuming most people are watching on their phone so I went that route. Hard getting those 360hz and below to stand out on the phone and this mix was heavy in that area. Tried my best to expand and widen the mix and used a Waves mastering plugin on the bus channel to kind of help compress those lower tones and widen it even more. Inevitably only so much we can to keep a full sounding mix on a phone

Great compilation of action shots. Did you consider a few driver reactions, like you smiling while driving? That would have kept us more connected to your experience of the moment and given us a break from the driving shots. Have you messed with any car rig mounts? I'm trying to find the best way to mount a camera on my Jeep Gladiator to capture some cool angles while I'm offroading. Anyways, thanks for sharing your perspective on creating cinematic pieces - your approach is refreshing.

Remus anamorphics. We used AFM on the it to shot. Rest was manual.

Yes the Remus! We used the AFM for the intro shot and the rest was manual focus

Love you videos across the board. I’m curious to hear about your exposing process on the 4D. I’ve been shooting Red for the past few years and got really used to the stop lights on the the RAW. On the 4D, do you look at false color on the log image? Or stick with a native ISO and expose to your eye using the rec709 LUT? Thanks in advance!
Both! The 4D literally has everything built in to it. Their in camera LUT does a decent job at balancing the exposure too. I haven’t really felt the need to mess with it. Like I don’t feel the need to over expose like crazy on it.

Nice vid! The Blazar lenses dont seem to make too crazy edge distortion on these shots. Did you find it a hassle on the 45mm?
The edges do get funky on full frame, just gotta frame accordingly.
@@cammackeyIf I would have a guess, the shots were not shot on the same T stop? Some looked cleaner than others.
I’d say the money shot is at 0:50.
